Mmkay, looks pretty good, but *ahem* ship list?

I've heard some talk of Drake, Dragon, Wyrm, Chimaera, Catamaran, and GB- that's everything not upper capship!!!

The Drake and Dragon are low-level fighters (Drake is an LF, Dragon is an HF); I suggest using the Drake for training new recruits, much like the Lane Hackers and Rogues do. Don't use the Dragon- police should be using light fighters.

The Wyrm should be your main ship, much like LPI use Liberator and the RFP use the Phantom. It's a VERY good ship, and will serve you well, and to top it off is used by the high-level KSP if I remember my passing through Fukuoka.

The Chimaera is military hardware. It is used exclusively by high level KNF, and I'd expect every last one of them to be in service either protecting Hiroshima or fighting BAF, with the occasional excursion to beat up other military grade intruders if the police ask nicely. Don't use it, that's the job of the KNF.

The Catamaran (Kusari bomber) is useful, being one of the better bombers in the game, but is again, military hardware. However, I'd expect you to have a small group to go SWAT on smugglers you need help with, but remember anything big is KNF's job.

The Kusari Gunboat is a beautiful ship. It's more military hardware than anything above is, however- restrain yourselves. If possible, don't use it at all. If it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY and you get approval from KNF, a SINGLE Gunboat will do for a "presence" factor. Although, I HIGHLY suggest you don't use it.

I swear, it's like people don't even bother do do more than scan for a couple of ship names in the propsal, the respond. Let me reiterate.

Drake will be used for Homono - recruits that have yet to be accepted
Wyrm will be the main craft, used by all Doshin.
The Yoriki will have access to military hardware - Catamaran, Chimera and Gunboat. They will be used as the police would use SWAT and/or riot gear. Military hardware will be obtained, and replaced, with the approval of KNF High Command. My Yoriki char will fly a Wyrm, and have a Gunboat at New Tokyo if it is ever needed.

Once we have the funds for it, the Machi-bugyoh will commission a pair of destroyers. They are not to be used outside rp events in the core systems, but in-rp, they exist since the Machi-bugyohsho have the right and duty to police the military.

'Anything big' is not the military's job. Any military threat is a job for the military. Besides, they are all busy with a little thing I like to call the 'war'.

I'm of the same opionion of Sovereign here, as I already stated at Delta comms about ships.
Destroyers should really go away and not to come back, Catamarans also.
Chimaeras very few.

One says a few bombers, the other says a few chimeras.
Would one be preferrable to the other, or just strike one at random? I'll not be flying either, and have not flown either, so I can't really tell.
Or we could let them go alltogether and just use the GB as the equivalent of a SWAT tank.
And yes, if we get to eleven active members and promote someone to Yoriki, that will mean a grand maximum of... wait for it... THREE ships larger than a Wyrm.


About the Destroyers... I am loath to let them go, since they _do_ have a real reason to exist, and without them, the Machi-bugyoh will be forced to remain a forum precense only - can't really see them commanding anything smaller. Can I order a Kusari Command Liner for 4.85? =)

I think this would be best yes.

Bomber is primarily aimed at taking down capships in wars... not for law enforcing.. somehow it doesn't give so much authority me thinks.

That's the reason why I would like to see LPI and BPA using one GB per system instead of bombers too.

As stated before, members that join before the faction is approved, will not have to fly the Drake. I'll now amend that to that the first ten member to join will not have to fly the Drake - unless they want to spend some time roleplaying an apprentice. It can be great fun.
(if we don't get approved... well. then everyone can fly whatever they want)

As for financing, post need for financing/offer to help in the roll call over at H.K.I.N.
