*Ambiance: Late afternoon, the light peaks in from Barrier Gate stations cargo bays, shimmer of light cuts through the dusty blinds. The smell of cheap Cigar fills the air as it becomes visible hitting the rays of light entering the room. A roof fan turns slowly swinging unbalanced just lifting piles of case file pages beckoning to be solved. The red glow of a cigar visible behind a desk with a man staring out the window. A voice starts to speaking softly as if a narrator having a conversation with himself …. *

“Inspector Nico Coleman” I remember when those words still meant something in this town and system. As a Liberty Police inspector life was good and criminals new there place when it came to justice but as the years past and my naive vision of this great system of Sirus we call home opened, I could see the pain and corruption filling the hearts of good innocent citizens.

As a rooky Detective employed by the Liberty Police in years that has past long ago I was taught that justice will prevail no matter what, man was I naive. Corruption, extortion, violence and under the table deals was the order of the day as Liberty sat safe and UN touchable in there cocoon surrounded by a armada of Liberty Navy. Don’t get me wrong, I am only bringing up Liberty Government as it was my personal experience but was seeing this happening all over Sirus. Bretonian’s cutting deals with Gallia, Kusari turning a blind eye to Outcast operations, Rheinlander’s selling Military grade equipment to Red Hessians. All the above is happening till this day but that’s not part of my story only the cause of it.

I left Liberty Police and home space, traveled around aimlessly looking for a place where I can call home. Barrier gate station is where I founded myself and did lots of subcontract work for Bounty hunters, Freelancers and even some unlawful as an information gatherer and agent. I became the go to man, never to discriminate or judge any Faction or race.

As the years went past I found my own way to implement my own set of justice, to say what cannot be heard and to show what cannot be seen. Revealing unethical actions by ALL citizens of Sirus, Lawful or not. The road has been hard and will only get harder, living every day with one eye over my shoulder and one hand on the trigger.

*Man gets up killing cigar in a over full makeshift ashtray gushing down the last bit of whiskey in his glass, walking to the door grabbing hat and long coat of the wooden rack. Opening the door looking back into vacant office*

No time for this, back to the grind stone. Let’s get back to digging.
