Samuel Isa is the brother of Jonathan Isa. Samuel was less distinguished then his older brother, although he seemed to relish the lack of notoriety. They had once shared a strong bond together with the brother succeeding more in leadership roles. Samuel exceeded more in espionage and missions that didn't hinge on the assistance of a team. Early in his carrier he exhibited a characteristic of being untrusting, this was extend to any who wasn't his brother. His aloofness from the rest made him an outcast among other Order agents. Samuel displayed a disregard for any social etiquettes that others embraced. He typically preferred a book and music over the company of others, with the only exception being his brother.
Samuels work with the order ranged from assassination, Infiltration and intelligence gathering. He demonstrated an aptitude for long ranged precision weapons. His position as a field asset came under question after the death of his brother, the key concern being his mental stability. Samuel underwent physiological testing. Samuel was withdrawn from the grounds that he was emotionally unstable. The quality of his work had also suffered; he came close to blowing his cover on several missions before he was finally pulled by his handler.
During the time that the Order Primary fleet was being formed he was finally redeployed into active service. His handler being Vaelin Darklight who had taken over the command of his brother’s task force. Samuel had displayed several disorderly characteristics towards Vaelin. Vaelin’s comradeship with Jonathan Isa had earned several leniencies towards Samuels’s behavior early on. Samuel had developed a favoring toward alcohol since his brother’s death. Despite this he conducted himself professionally, always being sober while on duty. Along with the drinking, he had started to adopt a more rowdiness that caused several bar disturbances.
During the time that Gallia made it's presence known, he was one of the pilots who escorted the Anubis. The task force was provided with a diplomatic objective to initiate relations with the council. Samuel was stationed on the OCV-Khonsu at the time as it housed most of the fighter and bomber pilots. He remained unaware of Vaelins intention to defect; this only came to his attention at the end of the envoy. The OCV-Khonsu was sent back to Order space with those who had remained loyal to the order. Samuel was interrogated by the order vigorously. This was in part to the nature of his brother's close comradeship with Vaelin. He was later dismissed as a source of information and demoted into the ranks of the secondary fleet. It was to Vaelins consideration to Samuel's future that he had been left behind. The truth of hi deceit however only caused Samuel to become further secluded from others.
Samuel served in the secondary fleet for months on end, barely having any time to relax let along to himself. He later requested some time for R&R to his commanding officer, which was approved after assigned another to his detail. He was transferred to Freeport 11 where he would board a Zoner Transport that would ferry him to Gran Canaria. While he had been awaiting the transports arrival, Samuel had decided to spend his time in the bar having a quiet moment to himself. It was in this moment that the bartender in cohort with another Zoner had spiked his drink. The effect was to produce the illusion of drunkenness. The female Zoner made attempts to gain his attention at subtle trust, the state in which Samuel is made the task all too easy.
It was too easy. Samuel had been able to fight back despite his state and despite the feebleness of it, he was able to successfully defend himself. The person who had been working with the female had arrived however and turned the tables against him. Samuel was successfully suppressed and the two completed their opportunistic work. The two had hauled him onto the transport when it arrived and he left in the transport on scheduled. He was confined into his room during the trip being in an induced comatose state. The nomad incubus that matured within him fully gained control of his body, it poured through his memories and mannerisms seeking to adopt its new guise completely.
With the prolonged time it had to adopt the guise of Samuel it was able to pass itself off almost seamlessly. When he returned to the order, he was placed back on active duty and despite the subtle changes to his mannerisms there was none that knew him well enough to notice anything out of character. Slowly the nomad adjusted the persona of Samuel into someone more respectable, making its way up to the rank of a squadron command. In this he would lead his own squadron within Toledo’s defense grid. It had tried to gain entry back into the agency sect of the order, however it was denied due to Samuel's prior results.
The nomad had walked the fine line between being distinguished and being noticed. Unfortunately for the nomad it was one that would reveal the true nature of Samuels personality change. Samuel as selected a one of the secondary members to become a captain. One of the parts of the testing was a thorough biometric scan. This revealed the fact that Samuel was not one who was in control of their actions.
It was in this moment that the creature had finally expressed itself fully. The event had been unforeseen and unavoidable. When the test came back positive, the creature attempted to orchestrate its escape. This day was to be that Order knew well however. Not for what the infiltrator was to do but this was the day of Toledo’s fall. The nomad had killed a number of people on its way out, with the disarray that was steaming from the attack of the Bounty hunters and nomads. There was little that would stop him. The hip carrying the man and nomad exited Toledo’s orbit, just before the millions of souls that were still on Toledo were snuffed out.
"Two days ago, I had my first compulsion from the thing that is inside of me - blasted thing, Like a puppet I moved, with no volition towards what I wished - I could only just watch... watch what it did - what I did. it went along with another one of those infested, one by the name of Jackal. Where we fought with some KNF, oddly an LSF cruiser was there which only strengthened effectiveness of guise we put up. with the detruction of the LSF cruiser, we withdrew."
