I am pretty sure you get 16 mins with a full cargo hold of batteries.
I am pretty sure you can carry a maximum amount of 1000 batteries regardless of cargo hold size. With a consumption rate of 2 battery/second it is enough for 8 minutes 20 seconds, from that 1 minute is spent on charging the device.
I am pretty sure the consumption rate is 1 battery per second.
I am pretty sure I did try out Mk2 advanced cloak with Heavy ammo and I am pretty sure I experienced an ammo consumption rate of 2 batteries per second.
EDIT: I am pretty sure I am trying it out again right now, this time experiencing an ammo consumption rate of 1 battery per second. I am pretty sure this has been changed somewhen between the two experiments of mine.
Mk2 Advanced Cloaking Device with Heavy Cloaking Device Ammo is confirmed to grant 15 minutes and 40 seconds of maximum cloak time.

Logically bigger ships should have ability to stay much longer under the cloak than SNUBs. Why not to change heavy batteries to have them 2000 in hold, and usage to 1/sec? It will greatly increase caps ability to stay hidden and increase their ambushing capabilities. Ok, maybe too much-it would make them invisible for half an hour. But at least make them invisible for 16 minutes, like snubs, and snubs for 8 minutes. Why SNUB's can stay hidden over 16 minutes and BS, with bigger hold, bigger core, and overally more advanced can stay hidden only half of this time?
I am tottaly FOR this change: batteries are a way better than cargo. It was really needed and is really good. But it's ballance sucks.
Light cloak can be cloaked for 90 seconds, so minus charge time and fade time, it's 77 seconds. Where did you see 16 minutes?
Has the ammo been turned off ? I just bought some heavy cloaking device battery's and my battleship cloak wont even charge up? says there's no available fuel?

EDITED: I can see it now: 8/s. Thats good. But someone was saying above about 1/s, thats where my math came from. Now it's about 125 sec.

Just simple math: 1000 batteries, 1 bat/sec => 16,6 minutes. (it's just pure math, didn't use it yet). If I'm mistaken, please correct me.

If it's like that that's really awesome.
It used to eat 11, ELEVEN units per second, not one.
And new numbers are here:
- Introduction of the MK3 Cloak for transports. It can now be built on POBs. Transports with more than 2200 cargo space cannot use the MK2 Advanced anymore. Battleships and Cruisers can still use the MK2 Advanced and are recommended to do so.
- The cloak consumption rates are as follow for the time being: 8/s Light Batteries for MK1, 4/s Light Batteries for MK2, 3/s Light Batteries for MK2 Advanced, 1/s Heavy Batteries for MK3.

Alley said that 2. So if is it still 1000 bats in hold you still have 8 minutes..that quite a time... especially that it's enough to reach most NPC bases and reload..
