Well, assuming the admins eventually put up the Core ID which has been shown to me here

Code:
The Core ID (title of the ID must be changed as well)

Pilot carrying this ID is a member of The Core who:

Can attack lawfuls, unlawfuls and quasi-lawfuls in self-defence, to protect an allied or neutral ship, or in defence of allied or neutral bases.
Can attack lawfuls, unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by the The Core within their zone of influence, or are in violation of the laws of The Core.
Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of influence, and attack ships if they refuse to comply.
Can attack Wild, Nomad and Order ships, and any equipped with Nomad equipment.
Can fulfill lawful bounty and escorts contracts, and treat transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
Cannot bring Cruisers or Battleships into any system containing a Jump Gate with the exception of Sigma-19, Sigma-17 and the Omicrons.
Cannot use transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.

Let's break down this absolutely batguano insane ID shall we?

Code:
Can attack lawfuls, unlawfuls and quasi-lawfuls in self-defence, to protect an allied or neutral ship, or in defence of allied or neutral bases.
Can attack lawfuls, unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by the The Core within their zone of influence, or are in violation of the laws of The Core.

The Core can attack in self defence! Fair enough

The Core can attack anyone considered hostile to the Core, stupid, the Core can declare anyone hostile because they are BOUNTY HUNTERS! Good lord, who thought giving the Core carte blanche to attack anyone and everyone was a good idea? Might as well give them all Terrorist IDs.

BUT WAIT!

THERE'S MORE!

Code:
Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of influence, and attack ships if they refuse to comply.
Can attack Wild, Nomad and Order ships, and any equipped with Nomad equipment.

What are they? a house? The hell does that first line even exist? Pretty much says "Bounty hunters now have the ability to pirate, they just have to declare goods illegal first." which they can do with LITERALLY ANYTHING!

"Food rations are now a restricted item in the bid to weaken the grip that the corsairs have on the region"

Bam, anyone carrying food can now be fined AND have their cargo confiscated, this is like double piracy, normal piracy it's either/or, you jack the cargo or you jack them for cash, normally the second one, but no, the core can do BOTH!

YAY FOR THE BLOODY CORE!

OH LOOK!

Code:
Can fulfill lawful bounty and escorts contracts, and treat transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.

THEY'RE BOUNTY HUNTERS WHY DOES THE REST OF THE BLOODY ID NOT RECOGNISE THIS GODDAMNED FACT?

AND THEY MISSPELLED FULFIL! WHY?

Code:
Cannot bring Cruisers or Battleships into any system containing a Jump Gate with the exception of Sigma-19, Sigma-17 and the Omicrons.
Cannot use transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

YAY RESTRICTIONS! Except only the first one is a restriction, been there for ages, good, a restriction.

Second one isn't really a restriction as the CORE is not a trading faction, LN ID also has this restriction for comparison

AND FINALLY FOR THE MOST STUPIDLY PUT, ASININE, AND INFURIATING PART OF THE WHOLE SHEBANG

Code:
Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.

LIKE BLOODY WELL WHAT?

CAN SHOOT ANYONE THEY PLEASE
CAN DECLARE ANYTHING THEY PLEASE CONTRABAND
CAN DEMAND MONEY AND CARGO OF ANYONE THEY PLEASE

WHAT CAN'T THEY DO?

SMUGGLE?

WHOOPDY FREAKING DO! THEY'RE NOT A TRADING FACTION, BIG RESTRICTION THERE GUYS

I don't see an issue here. It's pretty much like all the house military IDs. Core is hostile to Sairs, Casts, Nomads, AI, and Order. They're on good standings with House lawfuls and that isn't going to change anytime soon.

Core are not traditional Bounty Hunters, opting instead to do their own thing. Doesn't mean anything that they can take bounties, LPI can take bounties too.

I don't think that anything besides nomad remains and the normal contraband (arty/cardy) are actually considered contraband to the core.

APM is under BHG/Core is and their trading arm.

Someone's a little butt blasted, I see.

I'm not seeing the problem here.

What exactly are you angry over?

The fact they can shoot Lawfuls they consider hostile? Let's forget the fact that they can only do it in their ZoI (Omicrons basically)

Let's also forget that's basically what war is. Lawfuls shooting lawfuls.

I think the problem is more that they are treated like a House Military instead of just a Bunter guild, given the ability to do pretty much anything they want, for example to levy fines and confiscate the cargo; that's something you'd expect from a police or military ID, not bounty hunters. And the fact that the ZOI is massive and that they're trying to fuck over every base owner in the Omicrons and Omegas, and there are plenty of reasons to get angry.

That's because the Core are paramilitary, not just a bounty hunting guild. That's why they're separate from the normal guild

The Core aren't bounty hunters...

BHG earns the money...
The Core spend it on some Sirius domination.

This has been this way for years.
