I'd take that bottom one as an AI freighter in a hot minute.

Looks like something out of BattleBots.

These are looking awfully similar to some SoSE pirate raider ships.

I like the first one. I suppose that the name indicates that this is some sort of a LR ship concept?

Derp, didn't saw the text above it.

I can't really see anything in them that would remind me of SoaSE pirates.

I'll play the bad guy here and stand up and say the thing people around here are too afraid of saying. They're bad. They are bad models.

Not because of the number of polies, the level of detail, or because of how "rogue like" they look, we need to throw all that out the window for a minute and dissect the objective problems present.

First and foremost is that the designs you have picked are simply uninteresting. The only eye catching and visually pleasing shape was the front profile of the middle model, with the > < sort of view. Big, eye pleasing geometry which draw the viewers attention forms a large part of a good model. For example, the axe of Liberty's capital ships, the large pillars and balled engines of Rheinland's capital ships, or the smoothed, swooping surfaces of Bretonia's vessels.

Next, let's take a look at the way you've detailed these models. Right now your detail conists only of extrusions pulled in or out, scaled inwards (meaning smaller on the inside than they are on the outside). I'm guessing that's because it's all you know how to do at the moment, but random details do not a good ship make. The right details in the right places where people will notice them, such as a few inset areas with internal mechanical looking textures, external metallic armor plates, or more artistic features such as the swords of the [HF] shipline or the fins of Kusari's vessels come to mind. There is a place for the tools you're using, but those tools alone cannot make a good looking ship.

My advice is to watch some tutorials for whatever modeling program you're using and try to replicate some clearly defined artistic features instead of taking every face, extruding it, and scaling it. There's no shame in being new and everyone has potential, but as it stands now these wouldn't be accepted into Discovery or any other serious game or mod.

If you have any more questions, I think you have my skype.

Let me clear you something , I am not submitting something to disocvery , Secondly I never understand why people become rude on someone who just started learning to do something new, I know you are good at modeling and modding Freelancer stuff but that don't means to be that rude, Just take a glass of apple juice, it may help you and thanks for tips , I have your skype

Since when constructive criticism is being rude? He pointed you out the issues he sees and how to fix them, and then even further offered his help.

It's like saying a teacher is being rude for giving you a bad grade in a test, and offering you extra classes to help you improve it.
