Honestly if you add another buy point similar to that of hogosha then that would be cool...
But like VIP also take up 5 cargo space.. Just so you all know they are not as profitable as you could see them being.

Also dont forget : a PoB placed at the right point offering to take in passengers or some other "people stuff" might give variables that work.

I know some dont like PoB´s , but they are useful.
And if you dont insist on ViP only travel... I already suggested a nice triangle route for you, and we will wirk to supply you with enough refugees as it gives us increased reason to do our Leedsruns, too. Same with figitives or casualties : suggest some good routes and I will help along. I am actually just discussing a lease of the Baffin Shrine ( Brunswyck PoB ) to T&T/, for opening a rehap facility there too.

So : Os&C , Im serious about being interested in some quality interaction,
not only in researching the best routes but in building new ones, perhaps even by faction perks later on

They overlap, so you could do more complex routes if you wish. I don't think there are any cases where you can go back and forth between the same two bases with top profits.

Thank you for the above link, and the posts from a long time ago on the trade development thread which combined with lots of trawling through flcomp have given me a much greater understanding of the luxury/passenger routes and indeed the disco economy in general.
There does appear to be one anomaly within the passenger system though..
Vacationers: With there hefty luggage they take up 2 cargo space, yet the routes are all balanced around a profit margin of approx 250c/sec as if maybe they all have special offers for luggage to travel free. Are they intentionally priced as such?
Would also love to see more variety in where they want to go, as they only seem to like Shetland & Hawaii. A lack of liking for planetary destinations.. The original infocard of Curacao claimed it be "a popular vacation hotspot for many a wealthy Liberty citizen", while Baden-Baden has always been "trying to attract bargain hunting Liberty tourists".

Vacationers only require 1 cargo space. Tourists require two, and their profitability is higher to compensate, just as it is for VIPs.
If you think about the concept of a commodity purchased from many locations, it follows that it can only be funneled in the direction of a very limited number of directions, in this case two for vacationers. The profitability will be tied to the closest purchase point, because: Math. The more purchase points there are, the more limited the routes become. For a comparison, look at Criminals or Prisoners. There are no cross-House routes for those (except for a very few weird geographic quirks).
Vacationers serve the purpose of allowing Passengers or Tourists to be dropped off at a planet, then picking up Vacationers to take to an OSC facility. This is a vital link in the chain between OSC luxury destinations and populated planets. Without vacationers as they are, transport would only be between the very limited OSC bases. Shetland and Hawaii provide for the best routes and profits. Curacao and Baden Baden are too close to the planets providing vacationers.
