If there was a system whereby activity and interactions could still be had without having to rely on the playerlist, then I wouldn't mind that. As it stands disco is not in such a suitable state.
However, that doesn't justify Jump Drives. It's poor gameplay and detrimental to interactions. It also breeds silliness as showcased by Black Widow. It's at least better that people use the player list to create activity than avoid it.

im seeing here that the problem isn't jump drives. It is the made up problem that you cannot use the player list.

Lets remove smuggling while your at it and bounty hunting as well as ban pirates that watch the player list to watch who can be coming.
