How many npcs do you plan to spawn against a 3-12 cap fleet??
It wont do much and turrets are better? I think so. Keep in mind you can move turrets around

There are absolutely no Bomber NPCs, this would be special/unique feature for PoBs. To Spawn max 5 NPC Bombers as an example.

A max of 5 NPC Bombers ain't OP, but at least would give some defense. Especially after the questionnaire about making PoBs a little weaker but easier to supply.

Also think of the LPI base at fort bush with already allot of turrets.
Add chainfire tiny snac shooters and that is DEFINITELY op.

Just would point out that NPC bombers wouldn't necessarily have to be armed with either Novas or Snacs. They could just be infinite bomber guns.

Although, I would rather have Carriers be able to spawn them more so than a PoB.

But to get onto Snake's idea, its a bit too much. I mean there's already a form of communication between clients and npc's in game (you can actually ask an NPC ship where it is headed by selecting it and clicking the comm icon on the left panel), and that's enough Player-NPC interaction if you ask me.

I assume your idea suggests the implementation of something similar to the above, but in a larger scale which I think won't be possible. As some people already said, we are already nearing the limit

Its an rp and pvp server.
If it were only an rp server then we would be saying:
"suddenly guns were shot and it killed the trader!"
'ok trader plz die now or it is oorp'


Also think of the lags :S
