Personally not a fan of any logo that has an actual miner in it. I think it clutters the design unnecessarily and gives off worker friendly / socialist connotations that are entirely inappropriate for BMM. Just my personal thoughts, so it's up to BMM what they commission.

Only thing I could pick up on is the cog around it. It looks awfully similar to the JM logo, and I wouldn't want to copy them.
Any chance you can change that part up a bit?
