Well i am on my slow way back from attaining my ships, the Eagle and Preagle. Was assisted by Copperhead, who showed me the way to the Freeports of the omicron systems. He is now flying in the co pilot seat of the preagle. So i hope that i will be back to the Barrow and able to help with the Xeno Alliance asap.

First of all I must thank you for allowing me to join your cause. Together, we will bring the Libertonian government to its knees! Copperhead and Viper helped me in getting my ship and properly equipping myself to combat our oppressors. Copperhead and I then proceeded to destroy some Bounty Hunter bases around Ouray. It's sickening to think that they were so close to us. As Copperhead was showing me the ropes on some advanced tricks a Zoner coward began talking down towards the Xenos. We interrogated him pertaining to the comments, but he continued to talk down to us. So, we chased him a ways, but the coward ran all the way into the arms of the LSF in the New York system. Copperhead and I had to break our pursuit because our ships were only equipped for my training and we could not take on the LSF while in that condition. I have a feeling he won't be coming near Ouray again though. Copperhead and I returned to Xeno territory and disrupted a tradelane to see if we couldn't stop at least one shipment from reaching Liberty. An Ageira train ended up being halted by our actions, but it must have been flown by robots because it did not respond to hails. (//NPC convoy) We ended up destroying it and its cargo. That's one shipment of foreign alloy the Libertonian government will never see. Copperhead and I parted ways at Ouray and I am now writing my day's logs while my ship goes under maintenence for the night. Freedom *will* be ours.

Today was a good day to be a Xeno! I once again rid the Colorado system of some Bounty Hunters and then made my way to New York to take care of some Rogues. While on my way to Barrow Bade in Hudson I overheard radio chatter putting down the Libertonian government... and it wasn't from a Xeno! I came to the aid of the one who would praise our edict and proceeded to Manhattan. I engaged some of the Liberty fighters and a cruiser for long enough to get their attention. I made a strategic retreat and while still holding their attention spread the message about freeing Liberty to all within the system. After my trip to Barrow I returned to the New York system from Texas only to be harassed by a dirty Rogue. The Badlands were interfering with my sensors and gave me a readout that it was only a Wolfhound fighter when in fact it turned out to be a gunboat! I gave it my all, but in the end my ship was destroyed... Lucky for me the Rogue scum didn't see me eject and so I was eventually picked up by an an independent Xeno and brought back to Colorado.

Note to my superiors: I apologize for wrecking so many ships lately! I vow to do extra duty shifts keeping Xeno territory clear from our oppressors in order to make up for it. Please forgive my insolence.

I bring tidings of victory today! It's been a good day to be a Xeno! After leaving Ouray to cause general mayhem and destruction among our enemies, I met Jeanne. We linked up and headed over to Pueblo to get the drop on any Navy groups that would show up. It didn't take long before a Dreadnaught, two Cruisers , and assorted fighters showed up. We engaged them using the base as cover. We were putting a hurtin' on the Dreadnaught when we got a call from Datrian. Seems he found a Junker named Tinkerbell at Ouray. Me and Jeanne immediately disengaged and went to assist. To his credit, Datrian held on for a while, but got shot up before we got there. I snagged up his escape pod and proceeded to engage Tinkerbell. After a short battle, Tinkerbell's ship exploded with a satisfying boom.

After that, we resupplied and headed out to interdict shipping. Not long into that, Rath sends us all a message stating there was a Rogue Destroyer, commanded by Drax, at Ouray. Busy day there, it seems. Needless to say, we got back to Ouray as fast as we could. When we got there, oddly, Drax didn't seem much in the mood for a fight. He claimed that he was on our side, but since he had a Rogue IFF/ID, we were having none of it. I fired a couple warning shots with my Supernova, but instead of fighting back, he agreed to leave. We all took up escort positions around him and escorted him to the New York Jump Hole. He professed loyalty to our cause, but we weren't taking any chances, and we saw him out. He took his time, but I wasn't about to press the issue when he was leaving anyway.

Time to break out the kegs!

First time I've been out into the big black for a while, and what a night it was!

Upon undocking from Ouray I started my usual rounds, heading to the nearest trade lane ring, tagging it, waiting for a few seconds then flying on the New York jump gate. On the edges of the Silverton field near the gate I met a few miners and after a few circles to make 'em paranoid headed on to my next waypoint. Partway to my next destination I find a CSV named 'Boots.' Now he's sporting a police IFF, but it slipped my mind to run a scan for IDs, but I'm fairly sure he had a Police 'un.

Because of this, this made him a prime target for suspicion. I tailed him for a bit then requested he leave the field. Black.Mamba chooses this moment to undock from Ouray and we both amuse the listening miners for a while, Mamba showing us all his banjo skills. Of course Boots now responds he's going to get the fleet. I took this to mean he had a big brother in a cruiser on Manhattan or something, but it turned out he'd just reported our position to the SA.

Boots left, jumping to New York, shortly to return with two SA ships. He then attempted to lure us out, but us being cunning Xenos stayed put all the whilst aggravating our pursuers. I returned to Ouray to drop off some bounty hunters, and Mamba held position at the New York jump hole. As I turned the 'Hunters over to our PR people, Mamba called to tell me the SA had found him. I sauntered over, wondering what good my 'lil Blazer could do. I arrived to find the area surrounding the JH empty, so I jumped through to go find 'em. They were on the other side duking it out in Junker territory, so I took the opportunity to launch myself at the SA in the hope I might draw some fire.

After a while all of Mamba's guns got blown off, so we agreed to fall back. I jumped back through, and Mamba was tagged as he disengaged. I jumped back, snagged his escape pod and high-tailed it back to Ouray. Back at Ouray I seethed in the bar for a while thinking about how the little slime ball Boots had betrayed us to the Navy. I put out a call to a pirate in New York to ask him if he had seen Boots anywhere, and he responded as an affirmative. Delighted I jumped back in the Blazer to take the little traitor out. Of course he happened to be outside Manhattan discussing law with a mass of Navy type people. Luckily for me the SA werent present. Unluckily for me, the LNS something-or-other in a gunboat was.

I did a fly-by on Manhattan, picked out Boots and pulled out of cruise at the last moment, of course as a mob of trader-folk squawked 'Xeno! Xeno!' over the system channel. I mean, is mah Blazer really that scary? After a while Boots turned tail and activated cruise engines, which presented me the perfect opportunity to stop dodging and pump him full of gunfire. He popped in a flurry of complaints and a whoosh of flame. And disappointingly a whoosh of hydraulics as his escape pod was kicked free. I was pretty beat up and taking fire so I fired up mah engine and ran home for a drink. Boy can I tell you it's good to be back in space!

As i was leaving Ouray, today, I get a message out of the clear black from someone claiming to be a Xeno agent working within the Junkers. He warned me of a coming Junker raid on Tau-45. I was a bit skeptical, of course, but it deserved some investigation. I didn't want to leave Ouray undefended, so I went by myself to check it out. After I got there and set up patrols around the jump hole, Sunbeam comes in and joins me on the patrols.

After a bit of waiting, sure enough, here come the Junkers, led by our old friend, .:j:.Tinkerbell. They brought an Arrow, 2 Collectors, and an Armored Transport. Despite some good flying, Sunbeam got hit by several mines from Tinkerbell in his Arrow. I scooped up his pod and continued the fight. Tinkerbell and one of the Collectors fell to the Tau-45 Guard. I managed to get the other Collector myself, and then chased the Armored Transport all around Tau-45 since he stayed on thrusters and engine kill the ENTIRE time.... I still managed to put a hurtin' on it after a lengthy chase, and he engaged cruise engines and ran. Before he left, I'm pretty sure I saw him tractoring in his allies' escape pods, since the guard and my self didn't have a chance to grab them. There's got to be a special place in hell just for Tinkerbell, and I mean to see him take it someday....

Hopefully the Junker congress learned a little something about intruding on Xeno space. If not, we'll just have to send the message again....

David settled back into the luxuriantly upholstered seat of his new Kushan freighter. Something about Zoner engineering really spoke about satisfying the senses, the seat fit like a dream, the cockpit lacked that, ah, refurbished look most Xeno ships that had lasted more than a pair of months sported and the thing bristled with enough guns to make a train wince. David did a final check on the status of the load of synth bound towards Freeport four afor settling back to file an exceedingly overdue report.

With the ship cruising towards the California jumphole David began the ships audio recording system.

Right then, afor they snatch up my keys for dereliction of duty heres my long overdue accountin of what Ive been doing in mah spare time. Potterin about the garden and indulging in my love affair with interpretive dance aside, pause for affect!

*David then did so, eyeballing the glowing red eye of the recorder for any sign of mechanical laughter*

Right-O then. Lets set the wayback machine to, ah, a week ago! Remember Ive got a lot to say and not much time in which to say it, so dont be expectin Hemmingway!

A newly promoted Sunbeam and myself took to the mean skies o New York lookin to raise a bit of fuss when we spotted a Corsair handbag reading as friendly to the Xenos. Reckonin this bore further investigation the two of us rather stepped in it when a whole flurry of folks took offence to the fellow and shots started flying around. Reckoning on taking advantage of the chaos the two of us decided to step in and even up the odds some.

Sunbeam managed to get the worst of it from a wayward blast and took his leave of the battle a might earlier than expected and retreated to the homey comforts of my cargo bay. Throwing caution to the wind I opted to carry on the fight and engaged the closest target o opportunity, in this case the LNS_Niagara.Falls. Occupied as the vessel was it didnt quite seem to notice that it wasnt the handbag that was shaking things up in a bad way so much as a pesky freedom fighter with an antimatter bangstick.

One boom later the score for the lower classes o society went up a notch.

After pluggin the Niagara I noticed a pesky police tagged trader in a Firefly had been flinging shinies my way throughout the fight. Seeing on how he was offering his arm I opted to take him out for a dance, wasnt more than a song or two later though when he bowed out, cordially leaving a few codes floatin in space to show his appreciation for the good time!

After that things get a bit muddled up in my head space. I recall putting one through the engine of another gunboat and sending LSF Pluto Havoc (can only reckon he entered the fight late! Imagine two gunboats and a bomber having trouble with a handbag!) flying into several different directions at once, but all in all it got a bit chaotic somewhere in there. But! On the other hand I managed to walk away from it, so thats a good fight.

However, feeling a bit cocky I made a rookie mistake of takin on that infamous one more fight and danced a solo dance with a Liberty gunboat a bit later in the evening. Made a few bad turns, shucked when I shoulda jived and got myself plugged one supernova away from winning the darn thing.

Ah well! Not like we dont have an inexhaustible supply of bombers in the movement, am I right? Eh? Was a good show on the part of the USS.Ranger[i], reckon I owe him a favor returned.
The next day was a dang good one. Seeing the promotions of Glenn "Viper" Thacker and Tubalcaine, flyin as "Diamondback", from the rank of Juvenile to that of Royal, and what better way to commence such a grand thing as a in-space promotion ceremony as overhearing some Liberty gunboat giving some local Xeno a hard time?

Without delay Rattler, Sunbeam, Coachwhip, Diamondback and myself were in Pueblo local and gave Matt- what could likely be considered the fright of his life. Cant blame him, were I sitting by my lonesome in a target as big as that one and I spotted two bombers and three eagles bearing down on me with gleeful murder in their eyes Id likely blow a brown note myself! Was about fourteen seconds afor we gave the Ageira folks lookin out the window a nice explosion to dwell on.



Lesse Somethin about blowin up another Orca Oh, right! Some blessed fool of a hunter made the mistake o trouncing on the lone Xeno with a whole buzzin hive of them floating 18 clicks away. A battlecruiser by the handle of Tempest was causing a row by Pueblo and, despite not uttering a word throughout, was asking to be put to rights. Viper and myself with some fellow Xenos Spliotro and Albany dusted it up with the fellow and some Ageira fellow by the name of Hook in a Ravenclaw. Viper and myself managed to plug the Cruiser whilst Cyril_Albany and Spliotro gave the claw a lesson in waiting your turn!



For the record, I have no idea if I was flying under the influence or not when I belted out Yeeeeyaw. Stress of battle and all that!

Lesse, comin up on the jumphole to Cali. Oh, right! Yesterday in California I chanced upon .:j:.Taylor pilotin a Firefly full o cracked software. As I recalled that those fellows had decided to make a run through Tau-45 I reckoned it was time to return the favor. A fine chase led me rather, ah, far abroad into the icefields of Magellan by Mactan, where naturally I caught the attention of a wayward Outcast flying under Edison.Trent. With that fellows Sabre flinging fire at my bomber I did my best to persuade the Junker that hed best part with his cargo, and right fast at that.

Coulda just plugging him, sure, but I thought word o his getting jumped would cause a little chair squirming with the Junkers, plus I had a saber shooting me up.

Cargo vaped I found myself in a right fierce brawl with the fellow, lost track of the number of passes we made on another afor I managed to put a shot from my cannon across how bow, knocking out an engine and sending the fellow spinning. That threat taken care of I opted to put on my dancing shoes and boogy, what with being neck deep in enemy turf.

Right then, theres the hole! Shuttin this dang thing down and dontcha bother me for another report for a while!

After action report, May 03. 816AS

The flight kicked off with Coachwhip and myself heading to the Bering system for interdiction duty. Wasnt long after we knocked out the lane that we were rewarded with the company of two traders, OTC_Zeus and UnitedTraders_Butcher. We demanded they drop their cargo afor they take another step, Zeus took offence to this prospect and returned with fire, our two vessels made quick work of him before returning to Butcher who seemed mighty eager to cooperate in light of (literally) the burning debris of the other trade ship.



Not too long after that Coachwhip came up on the end of his shift, simultaneous with another Xeno, -=[Geronimo]=- appearing on scene. Geronimo must have been full of good luck because he also brought along a Bounty Hunter Battlecruiser by the handle of Terminator with him for fun. Given that a single bomber and eagle against a ship of the line didnt sound like a good time I proceeded to mash every halp halp button in my cockpit until Sunbeam showed up with his heavy iron. The fight was a heck of a ride, but we managed to take the cruiser down without suffering any losses.



Following this Sunbeam, Geronimo and myself were feeling bold in numbers and hopped on over to Texas, where we yammered with the locals for a spell afor settling in orbit of Houstons moon, watching local fill up with lawfuls. That was when something magical happened, Gafwmn, in a Liberty Assault Cruiser coasted by our location with hull ablaze and in a hurry to carry on to the next local. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up.



Sunbeam and I fired up our burners and gave chase, quickly putting Gafwmns hull to the test, wasnt but two moments afor local space was littered with burnin hull and the tracers of escaping pods, but it turned out to be the signal that finally stirred the hornets nest.

Another BH Battlecruiser by the handle of Lephi cruised in to engage us, with LSF Mike.Edwards, JG Dulaptacus in a Rheinland bomber, JG Skysurfer in a Kusari explorer and the [SA]-LNS-Corregidor, a Liberty Gunboat, closing in fast on its tail. The odds werent looking good but we reckoned on giving a good accounting of ourselves.



I ordered Sunbeam to ignore all other targets to concentrate all fire on the battlecruiser, we could afford to ignore the two gunboats while we took down the cruiser. It was a tense few minutes of ducking and dodging before the vessels hull ultimately failed, the second flash of an exploding fusion engine filled space as Sunbeam and myself turned our attention back to those who had been so earnestly shootin at our rapidly dodging selves.

Geronimo managed to get the better of Edwards, but not before the bomber and combined gunships did him in. With just the two of us facing off against the gunboats and the remaining bombers I ordered Sunbeam to focus fire on the explorer. Perhaps it was simply the exhaustion of the running battle, but the explorer seemed to dance before my eyes, one moment being in my crosshairs, the next moment a hundred meters to the left. Sunbeam and I couldnt seem to connect a shot while our hulls continued to be pounded by the forces arrayed against us.

Skysurfer opted out of the battle at this point, cruising away after receiving a few too many blows, though seemingly returning for a moment before remembering that he had been on his way somewhere else afor the fact. Sunbeams vessel was on the verge of collapse at this point, with all weapons offline and but two engines capable of sustaining cruise speed. Loath for the movement to come up shy another precious bomber, I covered his escape long enough for him to make it away from the general melee and to relative safety.

Alone with the gunboat and bomber, ship afire and with little recourse left in the way of armaments, I proceeded to attempt to disable the shields of the gunboat before ultimately setting my vessels autopilot to simulate one final run and ejecting behind the haze of fire it laid down.

Damn shame to lose a ship, but I think the XA took the price of a single bomber from the hides of our enemies today.

After action report, May 04. 816AS

Today was not the day that yesterday was, seemingly amused with my bold proclamations of daring-do, fate decided to show me the other side of her lovely hand.

I first encountered a Colonial gas mining vessel, the Pannonia under the command of Captain Robert Dunn, who informed me of a Junker, Mobster, who was pirating traffic under the protection of the local law. Armed with a bit of knowledge I reckoned on seeing if I couldn't one up the fellow.

The Junker was found to be hanging out at Newark station, where he was moments away from being engaged by -Spear-, seeing a fellow Xeno had beat me to the punch, I opted to join ranks with him and see if we couldn't bloody his nose some. Turns out that Spear had the Junker's stinger dead to rights afor the first trigger was pulled, can't say as I've ever seen a Eagle flown like that that didn't have Cobra or Cottonmouth at the helm.

Given that Manhattan orbit isn't any place for a Xeno with thoughts of eventual retirement the two of us retreated down the road a pace, whereat we were jumped by some feller by the handle of Karl_Vanderbilt in an Avenger. Might be his stick was a little, ah, sticky, but the fight was over 'afor it started care of a clap from my boom stick.

Also, to give irony it's due considering the above sentence the two of us ended up flyin on back to Manhattan orbit to try and put paid to Ushdul,, in a Liberty Gunboat, who was floating by Newark and flinging some foul words in our general direction. Don't know if my momma was tunnin in or no, so it seemed like putting him down afor he could offend the sense was the right thing to do.

It turns out that Ushdul, despite his bold words, wasn't packing any armor upgrades and the first shot I sent his way sans his shields tore out the 'ol fusion engine of his craft right easy. Problem at that point was that -Spear- and I were now thick in it. The two of us had [SA]-Seth.Karlo, [BRA]Flanker and =LSF=_Maverick_ flinging plasma our way along with the usual host of baddens in local orbit.

I managed to put down Flanker in short order, second fellow of the day to fly into my boom cannon, and I turned my attention to Maverick. Not an easy trick as the shots were begining to fly with a little more earnestly at this point.

I more or less lost track of things at this point. Flanker managed to find himself a new ship, guess his escape pod landed right in it, and he was shortly back into the thick of things. I manged to plug Maverick enough times that he reckoned on bidding a hasty farewell, though at this point an additional Liberty Battlecruiser and =LSF=Pluto.B made the scene, amongst some others that I can't quite recall.



Somewhere in there Pluto put a razor through my port stabilizer and sent me out of the fight in a hurry, a dizzying sickening hurry. No fun to be found in pushing the G limit for ten minutes while your burning ship spins out into the blackness.

A passing Xeno put me to right though and towed me wreck back to Ouray where they slapped another coat of paint and some kinda jury rigged can o' air thingie that they promised would fit the bill right as rain. With that I was back out into the Silverton fields to answer some cries o' distress.

Some of our boys were having trouble with a prisoner trader, scum that he is, by the name of United Traders Orca. The trouble coming in the form of my mate Blacktail and another Xeno Pixie not having much fun with said trader sitting by the Rio with an accompanying BH Battlecruiser by the name of Lephi flinging fire at them.

I proceeded to accentuate Blacktail's hastile spewed verbage (hard to set on poetry whilst being shot at from everyside) with by boom cannon, and Orca's vessel was promptly disabled. I then turned my attention to Lephi's craft. Blacktail and I were both flinging a few cannon shots in Lephi's direction until he managed to get a bit too close to the cruiser, earning him a torn wing for his trouble. With him drifting and out of the fight I continued to harry the Battlecruiser, loath as I was to simply give up and walk on out.



Eventually the Cruiser bowed out of the fight, seeing that I wasn't going anywhere and intended to see one of us die in the end, reckoned he figured that fellow would be him given the way the fight was going.

With the system quited down some, I joined up with the other Xenos in the area, now complete with Xenos~Spliotro and decided to see what kinda fun we might conjur up while sitting at the gate. Was about that time that *DW* Marksmen glided on by, in a BH Battleship, sounding a bit of a -oh my ****- note in my brain. Though, it went unheeded along with 98% of the info that my brain churns out on the regular

I noted that said Battleship was harboring an errant Xeno in its hold and, boldly, flew up to its nose (hid behind the jumpgate) and demanded that a bit of a trade take place, the two hunters coolin their heels in lockup for the one Xeno in theirs. The captain of the Marksmen agreed to the notion and we made the swap without any trouble or issue. Was a bit of a moment though, sitting abreast that vessel sitting vulnerable as you please. Was worth it to keep one of our boys out of the lockup for a few more days.



That being settled Diamondback and myself, him in his Eagle while I carried on in my bomber, decided to hop on over to California to see what the score might be. Turned out the score was a bright and shiny Interspace lux liner, the IC.Sterling, floatin about Cali Minor asking to have her pain scratched up some. We were obliging her when -another- BH Battlecruiser, Nexxus, entered the area prompting us to switch our priorities. Once again mashing my 'halp!!!!' button Diamondback and I went to work.



With just the one bomber it was a real chore, but we put up a stiff fight 'afor Diamondback ended up taking one and had to bow out, I decided to throw caution to the wind and finish what I started... When the second BH Battlecruiser, Rixxon, made the scene. These things are mighty popular aren't they?



Things were looking pretty grim, -Spear- showed by to lend a hand but his Eagle nor sharp eye wouldn't be much of a help in the battle. Foolishly I decided to carry on the good fight for as long as I was able, knocking a few more chunks out of Nexxus's hull afor that jury rigged stabilizer gave out on me, sending me out of the fight, care of a few well placed shots from Nexxus's guns. I managed to limp to Freeport 4 where those miners were able to perform a rather nicer patchup job on the 'ol bird.

I was about tuckered out for the day, so I opted to cruise back to Ouray to get myself a little rack time when I heard a cry concerin a Southern Alliance pilot in system, Jarl Thompson. A whole gaggle of us put chase to the fellow, who reckoned on giving us a long 'ol adios Xeno style, which you almost have the commend the fellow for, afor eventually just flying on out into the black.

Returning to Ouray a second outcry concerning a lone LPI in the system gave me the courage to try and even the success/failure ratio of the day to something a little more in my favor, So Diamondback and myself tip toed over to Denver where we engaged the fellow.

Ah, things kinda went wrong there. Note that my friend the Liberty Battlecruiser isn't in this shot, but he's there allright!



Long story short, I lit up the burners, peddled the peddlers and spun up the hamsters and got the heck out of there under thrust as quick as could. It was no short chase ladies and gents, but I managed to make my escape in the end. I think we flew all over Colorado under power. A few pilots lost their minds and opted to cruise in order to put the drop on me, but the good lords of malfunction saw through that they should be reminded that they had other places to go, though the task of said reminders took a bite out of my hull.



I made it to Nome in a single piece, thanked the barkeep for sending down an icechest of the flightline's finest cleaningsolvent/drinking suds and proceeded to hit the rack. Heck of a day, hopefully the next will see a few less ships driven off and a few more good and splashed.

Dear Fellow Dudes of the XA,

Dudes!

I've been released from Huntsville on the grounds that I was too excellent for my stay there. The food was pretty gnarly, though the Corsairs threatened me about camisas all the time. I figured it was probably their word for "dude." Anyways, I'm outta Huntsville, and found my Eggo where I last left it on Connecticut. Saw a few dudes tampering with it in a very un-dudely manner, so I told them, "Leggo of my Eggo!"

After the scrambled away, I found that they dismantled all my equipment, replacing my guns with wakeboards and my shield with tin of board wax. Totally not cool. I mean, cmon, wakeboards??

Anyways, got my ship ready. It's still on New Haven, but I'm like totally staying in it to prevent further damage.
