Yes, sure Discovery Sirius server had 20+ players on earlier, but a bit of a crude way to do it, maybe they should rename the server Official Discovery RP 24/7 (Perhaps then people might join because Official!)

In 2005 we had a different mentality of thinking. Then we would join whichever game had the most players on, because during those days, online gameplay was not as varid or extensive and online players were far less. Nowadays if you let a person download Disco, they will join the server with the least latency issues.

Haven't you noticed this? Remember when we used to have 6 other Disco servers with mostly no people online? Now we have around 30 with population ranging from 25-0? Oh, this mod is boring, nobody is around on this server. I mean, that other "Official server" has more, but, like..why should I play on a server with above 40 ping? That's insane.

No. If you want Discovery to survive for another few years, I suggest you disable dedicated server hosting for clients and restrict serverside updates to the official server only.

Cruel, but necessary.
