do you accept vectors as a format?

(.svg/.ai etc)

because I totally forgot I was doing a thing in Illustrator, do you even want those weird planet rings on the bigger planet. And like I said on skype, I reversed the lighter blue/darker blue

(progress from where I left off http://i.imgur.com/8J0wFBs.png )

The second one looks good, with the exception of the shield inner-colour and the symbols being too light. Needs to resemble the original design, so it needs more edginess darkness. I also want the outline removed too.

Sure, I'll accept vectors. I do want the colours to be the same as the original design however. Same for the inside design.

I updated the specification for the logo:
Quote:General Spec:
>Must have the same design. However I wouldn't mind seeing a design where the 'ring' on the planet under the star is horizontal rather than vertical.
>Needs to be cleaner. The overall design just needs to look smother and a lot less rough.
>Needs to be high quality.
>Less/No black lines throughout the logo. They should only be present where necessary. The parts of the logo need to join smoothly together. Furthermore I want the black outline gone.

Too far off from the original design I'm afraid.

there's a saying somewhere around. "The customer is always right" if I'm not mistaken. an image can look ugly as hell to you and be perfect if it's what the customer wants. if you're not willing to give him what he wants no real reason to waste your time on it but have at it I guess.

Wow, this rocks. My wallet is slowly starting to open. I've talked to you on skype a bit and will get back to you with a proper statement when you wake up.

It's too... rocky? Idk how to describe it. It needs to be much smoother overall. Also I would like the colours to more closely resemble the original ones. The vertical ring does make for a really interesting design however.
