Which components do you have?
The DC 8k has at least 16 different configs.

I guess it also has to do with the internal dimensions of your PC and your power supply (some of these cards are super huge and just won't fit inside the computer and consume a lot of power).

Something like this:

Might be a good choice. If you look at GPU's from around the year your computer is from, you might be able to find a bargain somewhere on the net - just make sure that the card itself is not too long/wide to fit inside. If there's not a lot of space inside the computer you might also get heat issues.

^There might be an archive function or something like that on Tom's Hardware, so you can go back to a relevant year.

Mimir your suggestion seems pretty good at last better then this 45 chipset, the card seems small I think it will fit in, Card power is also 65W but it Minimum System Power Requirement (W) 300W but mine is 240 W will it work

Looks like the lowest part of his system is the PSU block. Unless he changes that, he does not have much choice.

As you can see, even the small-form cards all have a minimum of 300W recommended.

Maybe take a gander here:

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/HD_6670/20.html

Apparently the Radeon 6670 is supposed to draw little power.
