I've been recently -extremely consciously- aware that I'm not a particularly well liked member of the community at the moment. That's not universal. I have a pack of people who I get on extremely well with: Shaggy, Deeceem, Shizune, Scourge, APDAF, Chrono, Meph to name a few.
Which is okay - none of us can be everything to everyone, I have some strong views, some of them are wrong, and I get correctly shot down for them.
What is not okay are specific people using skype threads that I have to be in, in order to do my playtime job as 2ic of ~*~, to troll me. It's started to migrate onto teamspeak, and it's actually spoiling my enjoyment of the game.
I suffer from depression. I'm recently getting over the -very recent- death of somebody very close to me who I feel personally responsible for. I'm autistic and sometimes am prone to manic episodes. I occasionally suffer from panic attacks. I'm a nymphomaniac. Sometimes I can't physically get up in the mornings and lie in bed for a solid week until I can feel my muscles starting to physically atrophy, other times I deliberately deprive myself of sleep or food for extended periods. I'm conscious that I sometimes come across as overly critical of the actions of others, or vain and narcissistic. These are not attributes that I intentionally cultivate, but they're part of my brain chemistry and I have to live with them until the day I die.
What is distinctly not okay, and also massively against the server rules, is to troll me repeatedly through public skype channels which contain 18+ people who really don't want to read about me fighting with you, or over teamspeak, with 6+ people who don't know the context of what is going on here.
Yeah, you're angry about this bit of RP I did? Take it to skype PMs.
If something I've said has annoyed you or your clique? Take it to skype PMs.
So if you're angry with me about some personality trait or another, take it to PMs.
You think I'm ruining a faction that you are in? Take it to PMs.
You want to kill a faction that I'm in because I'm in it? Take it to PMs.
I'd appreciate people to behave with due caution before posting comments such as: RIP, Drama, s.a.l.t. or whatever, under this. Seriously. Let's just all play the game.
I suspect I'm not the only person in this community who gets called an asshole with unerring frequency due to neurochemical issues that they don't have functional control over. So let's behave like responsible gamers and save the ripping the crap out of each other for ingame and the com channel.
I'm not the only one getting stick. I could list names but I don't want to violate the privacy of others with similar experiences.
Think before you pariah people. Ultimately we all just want to have fun here.
And whoever it is who is spreading malicious rumours; stop.

Hope things go well for you! If GC needs a pvp helper let me know and I'll apply! From what I've seen you've been pretty productive you got a faction with almost no player base into an active official faction.

To develop and safeguard the health of the Discovery Freelancer community, official server, and forums.
To be fair and treat all players equally, independent of their level and faction alignment.
Not to mix server roleplaying with server administration in any way.
Not to ignore any cases of server rules violations that are reported.

I too could get a green name if I had the dwelling locations of the rest of the staff members and had a concealed carry license.
