...Top story in CNS today. It's been several months since
the death of Taki Fujimata by Blood Dragon Commandos.
However just recently a trader in the Honshu system
spotted a Blood Dragon Gunboat. In command of the
gunboat was none other then Shiki Takumi. An
Admiral in the independent Blood Dragon ranks.
Kusari Naval Forces were quickly mobilized, but
by the time they arrived it was to late. The gunboat
was no where to be seen.
In other news Bob the tool man, in Manhattan,
could not fix what was broken. A witness said that
after he couldn't fix it he broke down and started crying.

Bio of Shiki Takumi
Shiki was born on Planet Honshu. At the age of 5
her father, retired Kusari Naval Forces Officer,
started training her to be a warrior. Training her
in ever aspect of war land,air,sea, and space.
By the age of 12 she was one of the strongest people
in the small village she lived in. Known as an assassin
in the shadows. Shiki could run without making a sound.
Could fire a Proton Sniper Rifle and hit the mark
over 1000 yards away. She was a force to be reckon
with. Her favorite weapon was two swords. She won
in a fight. These two swords were part of history.
Made back on Planet Earth during the reign of the
Samurai. It's amazing how something so old.
Could withstand the powers of time.
By age 20 her father ended her training. She knew
everything he knew. His words said it all.
"Shiki you are the blood line of this family. An I
am honored that you are my daughter."
Shiki then joined the Kusari Navy to follow his
foot steps. Though even though she knew so much
No one ever told her that Kusari relied so much on
the Corsairs. She found that her own government
was corrupt. She told her father. As though he didn't
know. He told her he knew and she had an argument
with him. The next day her father was assassinated
by Kusari Navy agents. He knew something that
they didn't want him to tell her. Shiki returned home
to see her father dead in the home she grew up in.
She saw something in his study. When she
investigated his death. In his desk the secret
compartment only a Kusari Agent would know
the code to was open. All its contents were removed.
"The Kusari navy did this." Shiki said to herself.
She packed up all her belongings. Equipped her
two swords to her belt sheath and took her fathers
old Dragon fighter. She was going to avenge
her fathers death at all costs. Taking the Dragon
fighter to space she set a course for the Blood
Dragon Home System, Chugoku. She didn't bother
thinking about why it was programed into
the ship.
"Mr. Takumi glad to see you again."
The comm suddenly stated.
"Kyoto base welcomes you. Dock at bay 1."
Shiki was now docking at the legendary Blood
Dragon Base which she knew nothing about.
All she knew was it was there home. Docked
she was afraid to get out of the fighter. Even
though she was trained not to fear anything.
She had no idea what to expect. 3 Blood
Dragon personal started walking up to
the ship. She had no choice to get out.
One of the 3 instantly pulled out a blaster.
Shiki lowered to a defense stance and,
pushed on the Tsuba, or guard, to one
of ther swords ready to attack.
Another person approached and waved
the 3 people away. Shiki went back to
her normal stance.
"You must be Shiki" The women said.
"Your fathers told me so much about you."
"Who are you?" Shiki responded.
"Names Ami Sakui. One of the Blood Dragon
Aces." She saluted.
"Do you know who you are?" She then asked
starring at Shiki.
"Shiki Takumi?" Shiki responded confused.
"Yes, *lowering her arm from the salute stance*
you are Admiral Shiki Takumi of Gunboat
Battle Group 22."
"Admiral, bu..."
"Your father trained you did he not?"
She interrupted.
Shiki nodded.
"Sorry. For your loss." Ami said.
"Your father was a great man. He honored us.
All of us."
"You knew my father?" Shiki said.
"He was one of the highest ranking Blood
Dragon pilots. Though he kept this life very
well hidden from you saying you are the cure."
"The cure to what?"
"The cure to our problems."
"I see."
Ami started walking motioning for Shiki to follow.
They approached a large ship.
"This is yours. One of the newest and most
modernized Gunboats of the Blood Dragon force."
Shiki could only nod and accept her new position.
Suddenly the speaker near them started saying
things.
"Attention, attention Kusari ships inbound."
"I must go now." Ami said.
"I'll see you in space."
As she ran off.
"Admiral Shiki!"
*About 30 female Blood Dragon uniformed crew
members came running up to Shiki.
"Who are all of you?" Shiki asked.
"We're your crew. No time for introductions
let's get moving!"
The crew ran to the ship and went aboard.
Shiki followed. Immediately she adjusted to
the task at hand, like a leader. Commanding
the ship and it's crew for the first space combat
of many the ship will see.
"This is..." The girl at the comm station paused.
Then turned to Shiki.
"Admiral what's she called?"
Shiki paused then remember the story of a ship
that was in World War II on planet Earth.
The story her father told her was of a
Japanese Destroyer that never got it's
chance to show what it could do. The ships
name Akatsuki. That was the name she dubbed
her new ship.
"Akatsuki." Shiki replied.
"This is the Akatsuki entering combat."
Never have any of the Blood Dragon pilots
ever seen a Gun Ship destroy so many
ships so quickly. Akatsuki was now
given its own fleet to command.
They knew Shiki could handle it.
The fleet now consist of 1 Gun Ship,
the flagship Akatsuki, 2 Very Heavy
Fighters, one in which Ami was flying,
and 2 Bombers. Simply named.
