Mind explaining the reason behind this? Like, why? You're making them useless. Stop it.

Edit: If you're going to do it, seriously increase their damage output and ranke to at least 2k. We have like nothing to fight of cruisers. Primaries don't do enough damage and cerbs at this range won't be in range!

Where is the logic in that at all? For gods sake don't nerf battleships, the class is already one of the most useless in the mod.

well, its kind of obvious that 'outrage' will happen when change happens to 'muh status quo'. the currently only viable battleship weapon in the game is the cerberus turret, and it performs so well at everything at every range, why use anything else?

Its also like everyone just stopped reading after that. mortars will be much harder to avoid now making them more viable weapons at range (like they should have been), you are still going to get murdered by a ship with cerbs if it gets in range of you because of their efficiency, making them ideal ambush weapons. and besides if it needs tweeking im sure it will be.

Don't fix what isn't broken and if people aren't using something other than cerbs, buff something else. People were using razors though actually, that's the example of BUFFING a capital ship heavy and making it viable. Rather than nerfing something that works completely fine - and nerfs to it is going to completely upset capital balance as a whole - buff the other things.

Otherwise this is going to make a useless class even more useless.

uhm, well yea people use razors.. ? okay? razors are anti fighter, cerbs compete with mortars not razors, cerbs were SO good nobody used mortars anymore, and there is no way to make mortars anywhere near as good as cerbs were without making them literally insane.

Instead of making other weapons more viable for heavy slots, you nerf cerbs.
Is that how you are doing things?
And then make snubs better against caps?

Have fun sitting in Conn with your 1v1 snubfights for the rest of whatever length Disco survives.
