Why doesn't Conn sell Nomad ammo?

So there I was in conn, trying out my newly (and expensively) acquired Nomad ship, when I noticed that Nomad cloak batteries weren't for sale there. Which was a shame, because I had burned through a few earlier.

So my question is: Why does conn sell regular cloak ammo, but not Nomad cloak ammo?

To prevent players from aquiring Nomad items/munitions through an OORP system, that would give them the opportunity to take into RP land, is my guess.

They could, but I doubt they considered it a big enough issue to put any effort into it.

i mean there's nomad ammo already sold there, besides the cloak as mentioned in the op.
also its kinda dumb to restrict it, because nomad id's cant tractor (only official id's can) - and then you can trade request ammo to whoever i guess
