To the various people that I interacted with over the past year:
For those of you that actually RP'd, thanks. We had some good times.
For those of you that were munchkins, I hope you at least enjoyed yourselves.
To the Devmins, in my honest opinion, if you keep going with the clique-ish behavior and beating people down when they disagree with you, I don't think you'll have a server worth the name this time next year. Do an honest appraisal and see why you are hemorrhaging the longest lived players/staff. I'll even give you a starting point: lack of communication / transparency.
When I first started here, the server was vibrant, even if it was unbalanced. Over time, I repeatedly watched the in-crowd slap down anyone that wanted to do something "different". I repeatedly saw or experienced, to the point that my wife asked me why I was still playing, different standards of acceptable behavior, to the point that a player was banned for posting evidence of misconduct of the staff. This past month has been more of the same. I have seen multiple staff members harass players for disagreeing with them where, if the situation were reversed, the player would have been tempbanned.
The overall behavior of the in-crowd is one of high school cliques. If you want to be big frogs in a small pond, so be it, but don't whinge when the pond dries up. There are other ponds to play in, and I will find another.
Finally, I considered posting that last sanction publically since I kept a copy of the post, but figured it would get the thread suppressed. I would have thought such blatant evidence would have been easy to rule on, but, it Was in-crowd players, wasn't it?
You got a point, the server/staff has been changed alot in past years.
I have left Disco for like aammh who knows 4 or 5 times and I returned all of them. Last time I even gave all my stuff away for free and started all from beginning and that was kind a fun,but I dont know you that well to tell will you be or will not be back, eather way nice playing with ya and take care.

If you're talking about the Snak3 vs Widow dilemma, you are completely wrong.
He wasn't banned for that, he was banned for doing the opposite of what he was instructed by me and Garrett at the time. This "evidence", doesn't matter if it was right or wrong, was obtained through a glitch and he was told not to post it. First thing he does is post it. What the hell do you expect?
Either way if you think the staff is harassing these days, you should have played 2009. The admin team is very soft compared to that era.

It might come to you as a surprise, but there are actually rather strict rules on power use, so if a player gets 'beaten down for disagreeing' he definitely didnt just disagree, but violated forum rules in the process. Just as a reminder, we technically do not have to make our job harder than it is by giving us an own ruleset. Im not sure if you would like the results.
Your starting point is correct, its a problem that exists and if you know a way that can improve is without slowing things down or adding more work to processes you are vry welcome to share it, Ill gladly listen to your wisdom.

If you dont know the full story, then you shouldnt comment on things. Alley already gave you a short summary of things. Hear-Say is never a reliable source of information and will usually put you into an unfavourable light.

The sanction hasnt been processed yet, because we simply didnt have time for it. As you may or may not realise we are usually humans too and have to do things in RL that help to pay bills in order to afford to spend time here.
You are also correct, it would have been removed, as its calling for a trial by forum.
Also, why Flood? If you complain about not being taken seriously you might want to change the places you put serious threads in.
