Not really though. It all started as a joke with a couple of folks from the IC chat. You shouldn't have taken it too seriously.
On a more serious note, I am studying Japanese history and language, and have seen many movies including those listed on wikiHow, and have read dozens of books portraying their society from early history up until the modern ages.

There is a huge difference in liking Japanese cartoons and actually trying to act like a Japanese weirdo who's obsessed with anime.

I'm yet to encounter a single weeaboo, heck, i'm even in the Disco anime chat and none is a weeaboo there.
