Yea, you are a bit lost here. Responsible Outcasts wouldn't want to anger the spirits, they would preserve unusual relation between the two species, and if it means stopping rogue Outcast who defiled the sacred grounds then they will do what is necessary. So it has been done before multiple times, so there is nothing really new here. You have ventured too far into, and yes, you have been warned in system by the battleship before it cruised you out of flight.

Well honestly... if you are true Outcast you wouldn't farm nomads.... but he could warn you when he CDed you I suppose... so you could do the right thing... But let's put all of this behind ... and forget this... ok?

EDIT: If you have to scarify one Outcast to make Spirits happy... it is worth.... to keep peace ... it is small price to play... if you know what I mean...

I was on my way out of nomad space so a warning would have been enough.

Gustav you need to read the Roleplay from the Keepers and The RoS on the forums then you would understand.

Cheers

as it appears two things should have happened... - the nomads should have contacted you of your wrongdoing in some way or another ( i don t know if that happened of if you were simply attacked silently )

and the battleship should have warned you - cause i do not think an outcast shoots an outcast rather than a nomad. - they warship the nomads maybe, but they warship themselves much more. - and outcasts aren t numerous enough to sacrifice a fellow outcast for some aliens, i d say.

anyway - such a situation should be clear ingame, - not solved on the forum, - thats the wrong way to go. if something like that happens, which is OK... the person that has been "sacrificed" should know exactly why, and not have to ask sort of ooc here.

You have been quite loudly called a traitor by commander of the battleship. Being the nomad that chased you out from Omicron 99 I think I know quite well what went there and what has been said there, including your OOC. As well as the fact there was no laughing between and buddy talks between the nomad character and the battleship, what has been instead is roleplay. *Spirits shine*... remember that?

So calm down now. Your anger is not a reason to go ballistic.

@Jinx: We don't contact trespassers farming in our home system, we seek and hunt them down. The trespasser ran off with nomad brains in hold and it is our duty to return them back.

Though its been rather a long while since I played an outcast, I do believe it is a lot smarter to burn a heretic at the stake, if you'll pardon my metaphore, than to call down the wrath of god, from the outcast perspective.

The point is, by angering the gods, you endanger the entire outcast people, and you should have known better as an outcast.

Yes, that was me. Problem is, there wasn't exactly time for communication besides a one-word death sentence...the minute I saw him back there his fate was decided. Admittedly, this kind of thing should have been planned for, but because 95% of the Outcasts are factionized nobody bothered to send an off-floor memo (because the only destination was basically a broom closet). And, strictly speaking, what I did in-RP was disrupt him so that Yuri's Gunboat could nail him and get the kill to satisfy the Nomad's displeasure, tractor the pod and torture him for a while. My exact words were "The pilot will be...chastised." as I recall. So, sorry, mate, but this is why people need to do their homework and read the rumors. So, my hands certainly aren't clean, but it was the lesser of two evils.

Oh, and I do consider relations with the Nomads worth the life of one pilot, just so everybody knows.
