They can be used by 7 factions.
Liberty Security Forces, Bretonian Intelligence Service, Kempeitai/Kusari Naval Intelligence,MND, The Core and The Order.
The last two IDs are the most frequently used, while the rest are less/rarely used. And the factions rarely use them.

Only Order / Core and house intelligence factions can use them as far as I know. Thats not a lot at least imo. I'm all for the buff.
Let's not forget that this ain't about nerf reversals. The guns have potential and think they could use a -little- love. Be it a minor damage buff, make it longer range or increase speed.

Actually that's not really an argument. The stuff you describe was nerfed because it was overpowered. Nomad adapateds right now are seriously underpowered, and need a buff to be made worthwhile to use. Also, HELLO ADVANCED ALIEN TECH SURELY IT'D BE FLASHY.

It would also make sense, nomad weaponry would probably be most effective against their own stuff.
I also find it hard to believe that 'in lore' these weapons might actually be not very potent - it begs the question: why do these organisations waste time, money and resources to continually produce them?
Also @ people who think their usage would explode: Would that necessairly be a bad thing? The houses already have laws and regulations to prevent this, and I'm sure roleplay would develop around their sudden usage spike (if it happens, potentially). Either that or limit it to the Core and Order IDs (jk).
Doing a simple re-work for these guns by our lord and balancer @Haste would be sufficient. I am not asking for overpowered 700ms guns, I am asking for a reason to use them over other faction guns.
@Vrabcek, just chill. Nobody asking to make them overpowered.
