Many apologies as the near two weeks have gone with no answer to fellow members of the 101st, 75th and Contari Lance. Pity. I was hoping their interest in such would be at least eye catching, but sadly it is a loss I trust to overcome.

Under the powers granted upon my being as Lord Felanis sleeps, I am releasing as a gift a portion of our Royalist snub craft reserves to the Cross. A gift with no need to be returned as recently a fuel shipment was sent to us to have them fully up and running once more.

I now hand over details of our gift alongside our project via Legionnare AI: Hex-Cinq.

As you can see Madamouiselle Espinosa, we have finally after so long gotten materials from several shippers daring enough to gained what we needed to continue their repairs. Interior reconstruction of the Grande Guillotine and La Triomphante are on schedule but we need to fully replace their hull plating and weaponry to get them fully up to combat status. We have made several small agreements to get much needed fuel to keep them running for quite some time as well. Once both are fully repaired to combat stats we will deliver grande fury upon the foes of Malta.

Therefore I ask for your help. If we can gain the hull plating needed to complete them both, and regain the mechanical knowhow to bring their weapons to bear, I will permit the engineers of Malta full unadulterated access to their designs to be replicated or modified for Malta's use.

My word is solid and will not be taken back. I stake the lives of my own and the remaining soldiers of the Legione des Damnes to it.

You'll forgive me for being extremely skeptical of the prospect of being handed such an motley assortment of gallic-made fighters out of the blue. No offense intended towards signore Felanis or you personally but I, along with most my order have much in the way of reservations of trusting such tech and equipment; the source of which regularly throw their own people's lives away just for a petty, centuries-old grievance that no longer holds relevance.

Irregardless, the gesture is appreciated, but such items will remain within our storage vaults until such a time as we can assign some engineering staff to ensure their usefulness and ability to not explode on the hangar deck.

The matter I'm more interested in however is the status of that shell of a Gallic Dreadnought of yours that I'll occasionally see flying near Valetta: your report indicates much in the way of structural and plating damage while at the same time promising intel as to it's composition and build. I mean not to imply malice on your part but you seem to contradict yourself slightly in this regard. Unlike the aforementioned issues with the fighter-craft, Gallia has seemingly always made it's Heavy Capitals with at least a modicum of competency. So while Malta's own Dreadnought offer a faster, sleeker and arguably deadlier hull, examination of such an alternate craft belonging to an enemy of Malta has some merit and use, if only to as to learn it's weaknesses. At the very least, consider us interested in this respect.

Your skepticism is well founded in this circumstance, do not forget that would they be rigged to explode, I can guarantee that moi life would be forfiet not just once by the people of Malta, but by Lord Felanis a second time after his reawakening. Such would not look well on mon repituar. Nevertheless. You are correct on a matter when dealing on the major business at hand. Currently prospects to have the La Triomphante and Grande Guillotine haven't been so promising in nearly three years. And for the sake of continued co-operation, I can still agree to allow access on board both vessel, with one exclusion.

On board the Grande Guillotine is Deck Nine, sub-section Twelve. I cannot allow anyone but those of the Legione des Damnes entrance. It is as Lord Felanis calls it.. " Cimetière du Père-Lachaise" ...His Cryo-Freeze Chambers...

And while you brought up a point upon the Ransuer. I, along with several of the Legione's best minds, have been going over a few visual prototypes the past year alone in which we could combine several grande aspects of the Grande Guillotine and La Triomphante into a possible next generation of Maltanese Capital vessels. One can turn weaknesses into a new and improved strength to outmatch one's foes indeed. Of course that is if you wish to improve our conditions to a more fruitful partnership?

I think we'll live not having to see a cryo-chamber. Lights know I've seen enough in my time.

Your proposition is... interesting to say the least, it certainly warrants consideration. That aside; Tarxien's assets are few in regards to logistics capacity: supplies to aid in the repairs will need to come from elsewhere (and likely involve hybridizing Sirian and Gallic metallurgy and to an extent: technology) but the repairs themselves can likely be facilitated. However there is the problem of cost; the facilities needed for this would pull resources away from Bastia's production potential, and would mean less manpower and resources dedicated to Capital ship production. Such sacrifices would need proper compensation.

Your prior mention of the Guillotine's forward armament is piquing my interest but I'll have to get back to you on whether or not that will be sufficient. For now, continue what repairs you can and start stockpiling supplies.

You make a valid point on the extent of current facilities already pushed to their limit within Malta's space. After having much thought into such I have concluded that we should not put forth any effort unless we known several aspects can be completed.

If we can hybridize a combination of Gallic and Sirian hull plating, we might be able to create an alternative to assist in the completion of the La Triomphante and Grande Guillotine. But only if it can feasibly be done. Compensation for such would be simply tit for tat. Each plate for the Grande Guillotine and La Triompante made would mean two plates for the Crimson Cross to utilize for projects that could come out from their creation.

Armament wise. I can ponder about a bit to see what we can muster together from our combined efforts on all working turrets, cannons, etc. It may be a long process to reverse engineer them to full working order, but that would be up to you madamouiselle.
