Start reporting nonRP names, start reporting memes in serious threads. Yes, it's dirty, but without reports staff cannot act on anything, unless they observe it personally. We are a community and we have tools to self-police. Use them.
I still believe that high grade attitude is more important than reaction to behavior as stated above.
Do not forget and do not underestimate the statement "Roleplay no matter what".
It's debatable whether what 90 % on the server type ingame qualifies as roleplay in a stricter sense.
Gladly - from a rper's perspective - most people do not even type and try. Therefore they hardly harm a consistent rp environment. They are like NPCs.
But killing off everything that is definitely not roleplay (like stupid names) would help by making these "no-rp quasi-NPCs" no immersion breaker at all.
I mean, let's be honest: If you have ANY expectation of roleplay quality (like: you are a good roleplayer and you know how immersion can feel), you can only be disappointed by Disco "rp".
I would go out on a limb and say that it would probably benefit the community if the Team started bleaching the pool, regardless of the qq involved. Most 201X members seem to have really gotten fond of the saying how disco is at a point where "you do not get to risk discomfort of the community" or similar ones.
