I am Ezrael Vertiga, Captain of Core Mercenery Battleship "Apahanta". Maybe you've already heard of us, since we're commonly patroling Rho and Delta, focusing on defending Core and Zoner installations in these systems in case of nomad attacks. You know, the typical Core PR heroes, as some visitors of Delta already called us.

Anyway, you may allow me to offer you a little deal. As we frequently get a small cargo bay full of nomadic remains of different sizes and don't really know if our friends at Yaren really need those, you can maybe do a bit more with those. So, how about little discount on some of your high tech toys in exchange for a more or less frequent delivery of nomad remains, mostly small and medium sized ones? To be precise, I am interested in one of those Battleship Cloaking Systems. Looks like everyone in the omicrons have cloaks, and it's about time to upgrade the Apahanta.

I know your prices and understand the justification in them being a bit higher than the usual battleship equipment. Well, in fact I payed Core more less money to get my hands on the Apahanta and the contract we have than the Cloaking Device MKII ADV actually costs. How about 445.000.000 Credits for this device?

Also, one of those Core hotties at the Alabama main bar told me she is looking for transport jobs. You maybe already know her, Tristana Valar if I remember correctly. I mean, if you can't use those remains, maybe we can store them at your station so she can ship them later to Core's or APM's costumers in house space? I think there's much potencial in this deal, and I'll be glad to hear your opinion about it.

It seems your reputation precedes you. You clearly seem to uphold the Core Laws well.

Now regarding your proposal... It is interesting I must say. Nomadic Material helps us to continue production and has helped us thus far do to what we have. I do indeed believe that we can strike a deal; maybe something that can continue on after our transaction.

If you desire a cloaking device I would request that you bring your ship into dock. We can speak in person and finalize any details.
This will also allow me to get the run down on your ship and take a look at the schematics. If all goes well we can have it fitted on within a few hours and it should be ready to go.

Ah, that's what I wanted to read, Mr. Sheppard.

For the rest of the day, the Apahanta will stay in Rho, as long as there are no other orders. Feel free to visit my ship. It's one of those older, stubborn Makos of the test series. So there are a lot of things we need to upgrade. Like an ablative hull, cloaking disruptors and such. But you'll see for yourself. Contact me whenever you're ready.

First of all, thank you very much for agreeing in this great deal. I'm sure both sides will absolutely benefit from it. I already contacted Valar. Well, she wasn't very happy that I contacted her after our last date. Erh, too much information. Anyway, whenever you need her, just call her.

The first tests with the cloaking device showed impressive results. See yourself:

Yeah, that's impressive. But you were right. Our cloak-sensitive radar won't work while we're cloaked ourselves. Well, one can't have it all, right?

Mr. Shepard. I think we will do more business together. I'm still interested in the cloaking counter system. But right now, you know, I have to earn a bit more money. I guess it will be far more easier now to hunt our prey, if you catch my drift.
