Well, all revolutionairies will unite and try to overthrow houses, Houses will stay tight together and fight them off, Coalition will be main support of Revolutionairies. Sol War 2 aka Sirius War will happen again and Nomad Suncrusher will blow up Sirius and we'll have the same story on another Star all over again.

I agree, I was just planning to enter Rheinland yesterday with my gunboat and start shooting at every RM ship.
But I changed my mind because I would've been sanctioned for OORP actions.

Actually it's possible after some inRP backups and SRPs. It will need a bit of effort to do it, but it's still possible. That's the reason of SR presence in Texas / NY, but we're doing the whole forums stuff yet. Also everyone has their RL, but I can admit that we're going slowly further - lack of RM ships (10% with onioner ID) is a bit painful, but it will be dealt with by SRPs. But once again, it will take some time - we're all just humans

Anyway Liberty should expect some exRM-basedRP guns knocking to its borders soon We're already knocking from time to time, usually around 17-19 UTC

This thread is not about knowing if the necessity of a war is mandatory for bringing activity.

My concerns were more about this: As I play mainy in lawful Rheinland, should Rheinlanders focus their RP and playstyle on some sort of reconstruction of the house? On what current state is the Rheinland economy, and how is looking its future now that the trading with Liberty is open? Also, did the peace bring some political unrest in the house due to some pro-war politician not agreeing on ending the conflict? What role should the RNC & [RM] focus on ( I read Corsairs and Red Hessians ) ? Will ID's and ZOI be updated to follow that path? What role will Rheinland play regarding foreign affairs? Etc etc...

To some extend, those questions may apply for Kusari as well, as this house is on a stand still to in my opinion.

I'm asking all of this because I haven't found the guidelines, just a peace treaty. And I'm wondering what is the next chapter of the story of my house. This peace is a major closing, and the future is clearly uncertain inRP and ooRP.

You can certainly try but Rheinland has existed in basically the same state as it was in vanilla, always the no money, no fleet punching bag and I highly doubt that will change any time soon. If you want to get something done the best idea is to simply do it, the community is fickle and about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard in most respects. Fly about, get some idea rolling and see where it takes you.

Kusari is already in a state of civil war, and as I've seen others say, Rheinland is pushing toward the Omegas and Omicrons. Nothing is on a standstill, at this point a majority of the server is waiting for the updates to hit before we do much else

God please no. I am not against idea of some DM admin for ingame events, but definitely not in the way you suggested. We had enough of unilateral storyline decisions by storyline devs in the past which disregarded opinion of players completely and in some cases it even negatively harmed gameplay (blown jumpgates are fine example). You need to make sure you will not cause more harm than good and creating events artificially regardless of the impact on roleplay which was already created just to create activity may easily end with players discouraged from creating any long-term roleplay because their effort was torn apart by "I do not give a rat's ass about the tears it will create" DM.

A random jump-hole that opens for a week from O-41 to O-3/7?
The mine fields in T-23 got swept away by solar winds and the mining fields in Dublin are yielding 5x more?
Gallia civil unrest rises, forcing the front to lose one of their stationed battleships and possibly creating the avenue to recuperate Leeds?
News of how the Nomads are invading Liberty again, in a concerted effort to get a presence in Alaska?
Rheinland and Liberty markets crash down as the VWA manages to lock the only gate operating between them. The unlawfuls must maintain a base/thing to keep it closed and what not.
These are ideas out of my head generated in 2 minutes without really thinking them through.

Nevertheless, i mean random happenings that have no permanent effect in the storyline and what not.

Mine gameplay was not hurt at all because I don´t fly caps. But as Lyth mentioned already, it in fact negatively affected raids, mainly for cap players, because suddenly they had to fly through one asteroid field in Hamburg to get to jumphole and then through second on the the other side. And that can be quite annoying, especially in turtle. You can of course disregard it and say it was just some discomfort, but fact is that activity decreased after this change (and it was proved elsewhere too that putting systems with asteroid fields on the raid highways is bad idea). And funnily enough, the decreased activity which was partially caused by this dev decision (with which all Rheinland official faction leaders disagreed with as far as I know) was then used as one of the main reasons to end the war.

All I want to say that cooperation with players is much better way than trying to force something through, they can multiply the effect when they are motivated.

This is exactly example of silly war created for the sake of having a war regardless if it does make sense or not. At least at this point. Maybe after the rest of Kusari update will hit the server, Rheinland may pick one side of the civil war, can´t say that without knowing details. But war with Kusari, with which we have friendly relationship for long time, would be totally silly right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing Liberty being humbled. But we don't always get what we want. It's more likely that they will go "SPACE MERICA!" and stomp Gallia down harshly all the while bringing Corporate Democracy, Apple Pie and Baseball with them. (dull)
