This is an update on my current projects, which are (A) a potential replacement for the Outcast Dreadnought, (B) a reworking of the Outcast Battleship, and a bit of a blast from the past. This thread will continually be used for updates for all three projects, to avoid forum clutter.

Here's the Dreadnought, and note that this is a VERY rough cut, the dimensions aren't final and none of the forward hull details at all have been added. Comment, please, but don't make comments beyond the actual model, because the stats, weaponry, etc. are already decided, if Igiss decides to allow Yuri and I to replace it.

The Outcast Battleship has not been started on yet, because the Dreadnought is taking most of my time, but needless to say it will be shorter.

[color=#FF0000]Hacker Spyglass II

Here's the old Hacker Spyglass MK II. The current Spyglass is a sorry thing, being ridiculously large, bigger than a Rheinland Battleship hotbox-wise, with a scant fifteen guns (whos range is barely longer than the ship...). I designed a smaller, more agile and certainly more Liberty-ish model way back in the day. The model has now been lost (and I built it wrong because I was a noob) but I could build it again if I felt there was a big enough demand to see it fly. Pictures below. Thoughts?

Eppy will get around to the Phantom BS as soon as Eppy figures out how to make Zbrush work. Making that thing in 3ds would take months...

EDIT: Btw. Xoria mentioned something about shooting the designer of the current one.. after flying it for only 30 mins ;)


Outcast Dread... not sure, but more yes than no... but it's up to its users...

What the Dread needs is a bit of slimming down at the widest point (those flares towards the end of the bow section) and some streamlining behind that...and the detailing, of course. It should look a lot more appealing when its done.
