So, i just got assaulted on my gold run, FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A WEEK. THIS TIME THEY ASKED ME 15 MILLIONS THAT I DIDNT EVEN HAD.

So to avoid getting destroyed, i have to pay, ok, its part of roleplay. BUT FOR F**** SAKE, why there is more pirates than police/military? And not even the npcs are capable of dealing with these situations.

Just because of this, i have lost all my credits i had on my main character in a single week.

I know its roleplay and its part of it, but its absolute bull**** that im completely alone, i dont have money to contract someone to protect me, and im unable to get enough money to upgrade my other characters. I CANT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE ITS HOW THE DAMN GAME IS. ITS NOT FAIR!

Shit like this makes me leave the server, please, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CANT.

Im so pissed off right now that i dont think im gonna play for a while until fucking bullying pirates go find someone else to attack.

I have a hegemon, and its incredibly easy to know that a trader is going to come when you watch the player list and one of them is on dublin. No matter the name.

Its just that there isnt enough players and dedicated players. Personally i think that police and military npcs should be much stronger and have more patrols, because right now they are unexistant.

Im not in the mood to mine again 2700 gold ore and make the route again just to have 2 bastards with bombards waiting for me knowing that im going to come.

Maybe it is an issue with ID used or the trade route used ? It seems to me that the route used might the issue due to the number of pirate encounter you made.

Contact the IMG|, they'll help you mine and trade with them in a convoy.

Also make sure to keep an eye on the player list. It helps much with tracking potential pirates.
And what comes to escorts, even if he had one consisting of a really skilled pilots, he would not survive anyway. Re-creation of the escort factions would be an interesting thing, but not that they could protect their transports well enough.

This is what friends are for, and threads like this generally aren't conducive to making friends. Yeah, it seems lame and undynamic and might go against the intent of an RP server, but if you want to be safe you don't have much choice other than to make some friends and mine with other people, Joining a faction would be a good way to start.

In addition, there are also many things to mine outside of gold which are just as profitable. A lot of people, myself included, play GMG and mine H3 up in Sigma 19 for example.

So yeah, just be chill, get to know some people, and things will turn around before you know it.
