Yes there is. /pirate when you have the Pirate ID mounted. Be happy with your Pirate IFF then because you are a pirate!

Independent Pirates are neutral to everyone. Even to lawfuls. It is only a trick to not be shown as "Pirate" on your scanner.

But this? No. It makes no difference and must learn to scan a ship. For crying out loud there is a scanner that scans 10k

Try not to act like I would make it personal while you are doing pretty much that. Just because I disagree with you on this trick being a problem doesn't mean I dislike you, but comments like the above can easily get us there.

EDIT: FYI Pirate IFF is a quite recent addition, please excuse old Pirate ID players for not changing their IFF when they are allowed to keep their old one.

Also, non-generic IFFs with generic IDs may also make sense, like a Freelancer ID with Police IFF would mean you are a freelancer closely working with lawfuls. Of course things like Pirate ID with Lawful IFF is a no-no.

Yeah, i can see that he just wants to rip people's money off, and a hegemon aganist a bombard doesnt last too much, i was so pissed off because he ruined my only good quick credit route. Luckly i have met some IMG players that are willing to invite me to their travels once i make a new character.
