Synopsis Who are Bjorn's Freebooters you may ask? Well, the better question to ask is who is Bjorn?
Amidst the troublesome turmoil of the Omega conflict, within the lower echelons of the Red Hessians, lie those who - surprisingly - aren't enjoying what they've signed up for. One such individual is a man named Bjron.
Bjorn was not some radical hoping for change within the governmental structure of Rheinland. Nor was he a disposed miner displeased with the status quo. He was, simply put, a bandit. In his pursuit for plunder and riches he logically thought it'd be wise to sign up with the strongest. Unfortunately, this dragged him into a war he did not want to be part of: the Corsair conflict.
Bjorn grew tiresome of fighting the Corsairs. For starters, shooting them didn't fill his pockets as quickly as it would if he pirated them. On a more heartfelt note, it wasn't exactly ideal that his friends and comrades would continually be slaughtered by the Corsairs engagement after engagement. It soon became clear that the contingent of Hessians he was with had little room for companionship when companions were merely cannon fodder.
And so Bjorn, whilst still sporting Hessian colours, established his own group within the Hessian hierarchy. It would be a place for wingmen that cared little for concepts such as revolution and expansionism. At its core, it was the roots of the Hessian movement. Piracy, plunder and a little bit of domestic spooking here and there.
Gone was the notion of revolutionaries soldiers. Bjorn and his men? They were freebooters.

Goals 1. PLUNDER
The Omegas aren't a place for expansion. No, they're rather an opportunity of riches. Traders with fairly hefty pockets often come flying through, and as such they are viable targets.
2. TERROR
Bretonia are fairly fond of placing their fingers into the Omega-3 pie under excuses such as "protecting their civilians". 'Civilian' is just another, nicer word for an all-access bank account. Lone and scattered rear BAF forces make also excellent practice targets - attack them with no mercy and leave no witnesses.
