I think I'm lost or something, I am currently in Omega-81, but that system doesn't exist on this map: http://space.discoverygc.com/navmap/

or do I have the wrong build of the mod? I installed a version of DF that said it was 4.88.1, but the main menu says it's 87.0...is the latest version availiable to download?

The in-game version number should be 88.1; did you download the mod from this thread?

I did, from the torrent, apparently they did not update the files yet. Or they changed the name but not the file itself, if it's any help, Windows reports the file size as:

The system was removed but is still in the files. You can activate them in the online map too. At the top click the options and activate "show inaccesible/oorp systems".

Your game might not be updated completely. Are you starting your game from the "discovery_4.88.1.exe" file? If so I highly suggest you stop doing that and launch the game from "DSLauncher.exe". You'll get all the updates needed including all the system changes and a neat little Launch Pad which allows you to customise a few settings.

I highly suggest you move to Rheinland Core Space Omicron Alpha before you update your game just so that your save doesn't become corrupt and you have to start all over again.

You mean Omicron 81, right? There isn't a system in the game called Omega 81.

I can't dock anywhere in Alpha, I'm red to the Outcasts...well time to be bad for a while then...hehe

Edit: Got it! Now I'm wondering if I could watch some RP play out on the server....or would I have to participate too?
