Civilian Weapons

Now, my personal opinion here is everyone, as I don't see any real reasons restricting their use. They are a civilian weapon. That means that civilians can buy them. That means that smugglers can buy them. That means that they can be delivered to pirate bases. Also, they are probably cheap and easy to make. That means that it shouldn't be too difficult for a pirate faction to actually produce them. Also, they would probably be designed to be able to work well with all existing ship designs. This means that there should be no problem actually interfacing with your ship. Also, they are most likely easy to service.

With all the above in mind, I say that civilian weapons should be universal.

** I think I should mention that the reason the Hackers are up there is because the Debilitators are sold on a Hacker base.

I voted lawfulls and Lane Hackers... but my full opinion is that this should be true for the "top of the line" class 9 ones.

Class 8 and down can be free for all.

Understandable. The class 9s may be somewhat iffy, being a recent development and quite sophisticated.

Precisely. I don't recall seeing any other sanctions along the lines of "you were using civvie weapons". I find this sudden change in policy somewhat strange.
