File Transfer help

pretty self explanatory. I am transferring through network or flash drive, but i don't think the PC recognizes it as a game when i do that. Help on this would be great.

You have to install it on the other computer, can't simply copy the game folder over...

Install the game via CD on the new system.
You can then install Freelancer account manager on both systems.
Use FAM to export the account to a file then import it on the other system.

alright. Well, other than using CD, are there any other ways to get the game installed?

You can obtain a .ISO/.IMG or any other packaged file of the game, ask someone to send it to you or download,
due to legality issues i will not expand.
Burn it to cd or mount it into a virtual drive with a program like Daemon tools.
And of course, install !

I copied freelancer to my external and then on to my step brothers computer...

I lost ma disk....

So transferring it should be possible.
