Hate to pee in your cereal but a 'great admin' doesn't cheat. A great admin respects the spirit in which the rules they enforce are intended (and holds themselves to the same standards). Neither Dusty or Virus did that.

Joe, on the other hand, was a pretty stand up dude.

I mean, I was the leader of BOTH those groups at the time when these things occurred, I've no reason to conceal it, as it was considered legitimate and okay, if something to be kept "quiet", back then. It didn't harm anyone or anything, and it's bull that they're banning people for doing the same things now.

We didn't ban everyone. With new anticheat methods, it's standard that if you flag the anticheat, you'll be placed in Bastille/unable to log in until you can post up and we can figure out why there was an anticheat log against you. 90% of the time it requires a game reinstall and you're good to go. It's not meant to be harsh, it's not meant to be unfair. It's meant as a precaution. It's been that way for a while.

Seriously, it's not like you then have a log on the forums about you cause you flagged the anti cheat. Not like we're keeping record and punishing people on whim, nor is this a punishment. For example, If you get in a car crash, you're going to be questioned by police to what happened. Doesn't mean you're in trouble, doesn't mean you're going to jail. It means the police want to know what happened, and if you're not the cause of it, you're free to go. Nothing on your record (as far as a criminal report), nothing wrong. Just a precaution to figure out why. That's all. An extreme example, but when I see posts like "God i'm glad I quit", not sure what else to say.
