I'm the one who encouraged the Outcast side to leave. Not organize the fight in Xi, but just plain leave.

We weren't having any sort of fun as every target of ours started fleeing to their caps the moment they saw they were getting fired upon.

If you want to blame someone, blame me in that case.

From what I've seen: I can confirm that snubs wanted the caps to get the meow out of fight but they didn't really listen. That's just indieswarm

I am not putting the blame on anyone. But before the fight started it was clear that the OC side wanted the fight to happen in O-XI. Not only that but there was constant messages in the Corsair group chat for caps NOT to shoot snubs. Not from just one person but from [TBH] and indies. But they did not listen. I also saw NC- and CL} leaving the fight from 1 v 1 being offered. But I guess this is similar to what happened in Alpha yestarday where the attacking side gets complete and utter rekt and "ganked" because home turf. But I know nothing :O

Regarding the last 2 fights, both were bad, I guess we will have to wait for Spazzy to balance things out tommorow and day after it.

Yeah, looks like these events might as well be made only active when an admin is present. Shame, really.

I think one problem is this "home turf" thing. There's more and more people swarming that cannot be controlled by anyone.

And that makes it terrible to control.

Alright, peeps.

We are going to be doing the respawn-enabled part of this event today at around 18-20 pm server-time. I am not -exactly- sure how much time the no-pvp-death part of this event will last, but it should be at least one hour for your pew fun. Both sides will have the same amount of time, so depending how long today's one lasts, it will be the same for the Gamma side of the event. This means we will start off with Alpha - since the first mass pew fest ended up happening there, so tomorrow we will have Gamma.


The setup for the event will be the same as Stuttgart, though in this case I will be setting up a base for the Corsairs to base off and putting both bases far apart enough that neither side is inclined to go basehugging.

I will be figuring out whether or not we are going to go with waves or with continuous engagement. The former is easier to adjust in terms of balance, because you can easily see how many survivors are on which side at the end of the wave, though it might bottleneck the fun and pace of the event. I will decide until evening on that. Obviously, the kill bonus will be active for the duration of this respawn-enabled portion of the event.
