I've played KSP on my laptop, and I figured the 20FPS and random lagspikes were normal because of my bad specs... but when I played it on my cousin's desktop which is something like 15x more expensive than my laptop, and probably 15x more powerful, it lagged just the same
Is KSP badly optomised or is there something we're missing here? I put the settings to lowest and medium and there was no change, but on highest with VSync off the fps difference was tiny but still visible
