Ok, i have had a few players proclaim that i'm oorp when i'm pirating. So, i am gonna put some stuff up and maybe some of you could help me play better.
First thing, witch systems can i pirate in with out being called out, as in this example. The other day i stopped a trader on my way through omega-7. said trader says. "what is a blood dragon gunboat doing in 0-7?"
I reply that i'm returning from visiting a hessian base. He then says, "your so oorp right now, and you do not deserve my money" as i demand 1 million credits from him. He complains so much that i just leave and let him go. So, i ask, how was that oorp? also, some of you know that i have a 10 second time limit to pay before i open fire, is that wrong aswell?
Second, i base my tax i ask for on the lvl of the player and the cargo they have, but i cap my tax at 2 million credits, is that wrong too or should i pursue a new form of pirating.
Thirdly, equipment, i have a nomad thruster on my vessel, is that ok?
Fourth, I have "as said before" a blood dragon gunboat. some people ask why does an outcast have a blood dragon gunboat? Am i aloud to use allied ships for my own cuase? Really though, if the outcasts had a gunboat, i would use it.
Well, thats all i have to say, i just want to RP better to make the game more fun. If anyof you have some advise, please tell.
The Outcast and Blood Dragon relationship is... more complicated, and realistically the BD don't care for outsiders and really shouldn't be handing them off to anyone except possibly the GC. By the way, they loathe Outcasts pretty badly for their Cardamine abuse, according to rumors.
As far as 10 second time limit, its a little harsh, but as long as you ask first its fine.
Your ID dictates who you are, and what you can do: if you have Outcast ID, then you can go anywhere Outcasts might go and you can pirate anywhere. If you were, as you said, visiting the Hessians, then there aren't any problems. You can pirate wherever you go.

See, there is much i do not know, and like 4 weeks worth of things to read on this forums site. maybe i should just shut down all my characters and start new, as something more rp related, rather then just being some random indie pirate with a ship from people who hate him. haha, i have much to learn.
Well you have a good atitude about is
all so I think you'll go far.
Yes it's probably easier if you concentrate on one character.
And join a faction. That'll help you learn RP quicker than indie.
Well...that also depends on the faction of course.

just one flaw, you pirated in OPG space. Bad pirate, bad! >:(
nah, jk, thats totally in order although, i'ld call it extorting money not pirating. Get cargo next time yarr!:D(nah i know you cant, 2mil cap is excellent)
dragon stays in kusari, end of it, thats it, stay there unless youve got a very good reason to go somewhere else, and you should usually have it posted on forum or something, because a dragon doesnt need to go outside anyhow.
thats why you are oorp, to even visit a hessian base and then go back trying to pirate people in a omega - lets see, no blood dragon there? you the problem? yeah.
yes its very restrictive, but this is a roleplay server. You stick to where you are, unless you take a generic pirate ID and can go anywhere.

Not to argue, but did you not see that i'm an outcast in an ally ship? From what the others say, outcasts are generally found everywhere. But it matters not, i'm doing a total revamp on my characters. i'm going to make a story behind my characters and start over with a new one. Same name though.
in which case it has already been argued many time dragons wouldnt give their ships to outcasts. Merely read the Blood Dragon VHF description to understand that all their ship is a close secret to them, and they wont give them to anyone else but the Dragons themselves.
