So I have been working on ideas to generate some activity for the FA, and while this wasn't one of the ideas I was thinking about, it did pop into my head and I figured I would see what other people think.

The FA has always really been a terrorist faction that has had to play its rp on a non-terrorist ID. What about giving the FA free engagement of non-allied vessels in their ZOI? More of a real terrorist ID.

FA ID

Pilot carrying this unlawful ID is a member of the Farmers Alliance, who:

Can attack any ships not belonging to Samura/Hogosha/IKN within their Zone of Influence. Can treat transports as combat targets.
Can demand cargo from any ship except Samura/Hogosha/IKN within their Zone of Influence.
Cannot ally with any lawfuls. (Except Samura in the case of a real civil war breaking out) (Except IKN I dont know if they are considered lawful)
Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
Cannot demand credits.

Zone of Influence: Kusari, Taus, Sigmas

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports

I'm undecided.

All the faction including indies or just a player faction?

Why do you feel you need this? Why isn't piracy enough? There is nothing forbidding a pirate from asking a trader to drop all his cargo to destroy it. (apart from the fact that people will start whining evoking 0.0)

Why do FA need to murder people on top of destroying their produce?

With you at the helm keeping an eye on things I wouldn't have a problem. Ideas tend to outlive their sources and another FA leader down the line can go rampant with such an ID or otherwise have a completely different interpretation of FA lore. Myself I view FA as terrorizing foreign shipping

Of ffs my phone caused above to post prematurely. I'm a ten minute man. Can't seem to edit it.

Well I consider FA terrorists when it comes to foreign shipping not pirates. It has always suited their lore better.

Gah I lost my train of thought. I need a puff first to clarify my thoughts.

Da
Quote: The Xenos are an ultranationalist terrorist group in Liberty who focus on the expulsion of foreigners. They prefer to hit foreign shippers instead of Liberty shippers, and prefer to destroy rather then steal.

Pilot carrying this unlawful ID is a member of the Xenos, who:

Can attack any ships not belonging to Liberty corporations within their Zone of Influence. Can treat transports as combat targets.
Can demand cargo from any ship within their Zone of Influence.
Cannot ally with any lawfuls.
Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Zone of Influence: Liberty, systems directly bordering Liberty, Humboldt, Vespucci, Shikoku

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports

This is the basic idea of what I think the ID should look like. I also don't see why it would be s unbalancing considering the Xeno's have pretty much the same ID.

I also think the Corsair/FA alliance should go the way of the Dodo.

All the faction, this is not about something just for the player faction people.

Because the FA want to murder foreigners. They are invaders in Kusari and are a threat to Kusari's future. The FA aren't "nice guys" they aren't trying to use just enough violence to meet their goals. They are trying to send a message. Come into Kusari and you will die. They don't want you there. The fall of the imperial line would probably have just radicalized the FA further. They want to kill these people. They are the enemy. They don't look at traders and see their product, they look at traders and see the enemy. In fact, the only direct enemies the FA have are trading factions.

Hope that answers the questions.
