So this is just about Planet Carinea in Omicron Alpha in general. So concerning its very unique nature as a "habitable planet" with a poison that kills all humans it comes into contact with does anyone else think this planet has a real potential of influencing the future of Discovery? For instance it's the perfect planet to add a research station in orbit above to research the strange poison. Economically it might be possible to make some sort of trade good out of the poison on this planet or at least scientists could be sent to a possible station in orbit. It's also quite intresting that there is really no backstory of when, how or if the outcasts encountered this planet before recent times because It dosent say who found the planet all it says is "initial surveys" and "first expeditions". I mean, if they landed on this planet instead of Malta the outcasts wouldn't exist so it kinda makes since to address its importance. Basically to summarize I feel like this planet has real roleplay potential behind it and I'd like to know what you guys think. I realize that even if some sort of development on the subject of this planet happens it's pretty far down on the staff to-do list but I still want to see what you guys think. Thanks!
Cross had some basic RP involved with Carinea and a use for the neurotoxin- but said RP, like a lot of the other stuff I was working on, was lost around the time of the Great Server Crash of 2015
Nice little planet with potential, i just ran out of time to capitalize on it- maybe sometime in the future I suppose.

It definitely has potential to have stuff happen with it in the lore. Hispania has been neglected a bit lately as far as the story goes, hopefully .89 can rectify that.
Yeah I mean the last few patches have really just progressed time, gotten rid of all those extra systems and maybe a little bit here and there concerning the kusari civil war. All of which is important, I just feel like we need to expand the storyline again.
