woooohoooo, left my ship in Pennsylvania space, in the Osiris hug in the morning n did not manage to come back as expected within 15 min. When I came back found it 350k off the map in space. What happened? Is there some rule or did somebody just play a joke on me towing me out n off the map?
Its not worth doing If it doesnt scare you at least a bit!

yea you did, after i flew about 200k plus. was wondering how that happened mid flight. Thanks anyway!
But is that some kind of system setup that dumps you into space if ship abandoned in space? Been checking out the rules but didnt see anything about it.

It doesn't always kick you that far, but it's recommended to disconnect only after docking with some kind of installation. By the way, 350k isn't that much. I remember doing full circle with 800k as radius. That's how I found the old temple of the damned
If you haven't read the rules yet, I'd advise to do it as disconnecting in space in some situations (to avoid interaction) may result in punishments.
Yet I'm not here to scare you It's just easier and simpler just to simply disconnect at stations
How long does one have to be idle in space before they are warped 100's of k away, because there was a ship in Penn today that was just sitting in the helium field for 4+ hours....
"Drifting" happens only to ships which F1 in space. Ships of players which just go AFK stay where they are (until next server restart which happens at least once per day). However it is dangerous too since unlawfuls can shoot you down when you can´t respond to their demand.
