After sitting down Alexej's legs started to get restless, he had a feeling like he was under water.
The commissar got back to reading his paper for a few minutes that felt like a century. The man was trying to calm himself down and to at least appear confident. When the commissar spoke, he was gazing at the shelf with the Vodka on it.

"You are seeking to join the Army... I get the Muppets like you every now and then, they think joining the army is a grand thing and that they can become heroes..."
Alexej was confused, he did not know what to say. When he thought of something the commissar cut him off before he could open his mouth.
"If you are thinking of joining the Army for Glory I suggest you reconsider that promptly, the Army is the front line against the tyranny of the Houses, we fight to spread our cause to all those in need of the Red Banner and its comfort, tell me just for the-"The look on commissars face was enough to fire up Alexej. "-Record. Why are you enlisting to join the Revolutionary Army?"
"Well comrade commissar sir, I did not come here to waste your time. I do not care for personal gain, for glory and heroism."

As he was talking, he was getting more and more fired up.
"Comrade commissar you ask me why am I enlisting in the Army? Well, I-"
He quickly stood up giving a fierce salute to the commissar.
"- want to see our nation be like it was in the glory days when we had the Alliance running in fear." "I want to look at the enemy ship as it explodes and laugh, I want to give my knowledge to my country and my life if it comes to it. I can no longer sit and do nothing, people may call me a fool for being willing to give my life away but I do not care. I am here, sir to join the Revolutionary Army!"
After that short speech Alexej felt like the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders.
"So you see comrade commissar I do not have a simple answer to your question, I can only ask for to be allowed to spread our cause and to give the comfort of the Red Banner to others!"
He quickly sat down, hoping he did not antagonize the commissar with his words, but still determined, and finally not shaking anymore.

Oh lovely...A 'Patriot'...Still it could have been worse...He once heard that an 'alien' attempted to join years ago...That apparently ended with said creature being torched. Likely just a rumor started by some gossiping officer hoping to get 'popular'...But still stranger things have walked through the doors.

"Well I must say you're not a fool." he stated with a smile on his face, his tone pleasant and almost 'sugary', even as he finished his statement. "You're just an idiot." he finished with that same smile still plastered on his face before it turned sour and almost downright mocking as he pressed on without mercy. "Nothing is gained from losing your life, it merely weakens us as a whole and gives the enemy a victory over the Working Class by robbing them of one of their liberators." he berated harshly before putting down his reading material, clasping his hands together and planted them on the desk.

"Alright, I have acouple more questions to ask you...Muppet..." he snarked before unclasping his hands, reaching under the desk and drawing his TT-33 Pistol, casually looking it over like one would a fine meal before his gaze returned to Alexej's own. "If you answer correctly you will live and be given the chance to prove my initial assumptions wrong...The first question is as follows; What would you do if you found yourself on Planet New London, you are carrying vital documents that could affect the Coalition as a whole, before you leave you find an opportunity has crossed your path." he pauses for a moment before continuing. "An Admiral of the Bretonian Armed Forces is alone near your location with a minimal guard, do you take the opportunity to wreck havoc upon the enemy's command structure or rather than risk the information you are carrying simply return to New Moscow?"

After a few seconds the commissar gave out a smile while saying: "Well, I must say you're not a fool."
Alexej looked happy for a moment before commissar continued his statement "You're just an idiot."
That statement surprised Alexej, he did not understand what he did wrong, as the commissar continued without mercy: "Nothing is gained from losing your life, it merely weakens us as a whole and gives the enemy a victory over the Working Class by robbing them of one of their liberators." As the commissar left his reading material down all Alexej could do is acknowledge commissars words which are now burnt deep in his brain.
"Why, ye.. yes sir." He barely said with a voice, someone would say is of a child. "Alright, I have a couple more questions to ask you... Muppet..." Alexej coughed to clear his voice while his leg started to get restless and the feeling of anxiety he had before was returning. "Yes, sir, I.. I win.." He coughed again as he was getting more and more nervous when he saw the pistol the commissar had drawn from his desk.
When commissars eyes focused on Alexej again he felt like he was gonna die, like he knew what was gonna happen. And then he remembered commissars words for a few moments: Nothing is gained from losing your life. At that moment he thought that this was a test to scare him.
But he thought at the same time it might not be, there was no way of knowing only one thing was important: He must not die now, the commissar is right. Better to run and survive to fight another day. As he was buried in his thoughts, the commissar continued:
"If you answer correctly, you will live and be given the chance to prove my initial assumptions wrong... The first question is as follows; What would you do if you found yourself on Planet New London, you are carrying vital documents that could affect the Coalition as a whole, before you leave you find an opportunity has crossed your path."
As the commissar stoped for a moment the scenario was going on inside Alexejs head. The commissar continued: "An Admiral of the Bretonian Armed Forces is alone near your location with a minimal guard, do you take the opportunity to wreck havoc upon the enemy's command structure or rather than risk the information you are carrying simply return to New Moscow?" One minute passed and Alexej wasnt sure, and his mind started to wander off ro certain rummors he heard about the recruits that have 'failed'.
Commissar was still smiling with the pistol in his hand, changing his gaze from the Alexejs face to the TT-33. Alexej made himself more comfortable on a chair while putting his hand in his backpack to reach the bottle just in case which was leaning on the chair next to him.

"Well comrade commissar I must say that I would not risk the information and my life. As you said I shouldn't be willing to give my life away for anything.
If there was a chance of me getting away alive after taking the Admiral out I would do it, but most likely that opportunity would end up with me dead along with the Admiral. With the information in the hands of the High Command the Coalition could strike an even worse blow to the Bretonians."

The pause that came after Alexej's reply was so thick not even a Typhoon could cut through it. It was almost suffocating as the Commissar simply stared down the man for those precious few minutes before he finally nodding slightly, his expression unchanging as it was before. "Correct, the mission comes first for when you are assigned orders it means that the people of the Coalition are putting their trust in you, forsaking those orders to chase after a target that you are not entirely sure you can destroy or kill means you have broken that trust with those who look upon you as their defender and their emissary." he lectured like one would a child before pointing the pistol away all so slightly. It could just be a trick to lull Alexej into a false sense of security...But than again it could be the Commissar 'throwing him a bone.'.

"Alright Muppet, since you have proven that you are not the average idiot let's see how you handle this." he challenged, a small smirk crossing his features before going completely blank. "During a routine patrol you encounter a strange ship, you do not know what it is and it does not match any known designs found in the Coalition Archives...What do you do?"

When Alexej heard he got the question right and when he saw the commissar slowly putting the gun away he relaxed on the chair but not to much, he kept his guard up. He smiled to commissars comment and he was ready for the next question. "During a routine patrol you encounter a strange ship, you do not know what it is and it does not match any
known designs found in the Coalition Archives...What do you do?"
Alexej remembered dreaming as a kid that he was exploring the universe, meeting new alien races, visiting strange worlds... But he quickly got back into reality and not to keep the commissar waiting he quickly said: "Well sir i would try communicating with the ship, depending on their action i would proceed. If they were hostile I would engage but also i would be careful not to damage the ship to much as the tech on the ship could prove useful for the Coalition. If they were friendly i would contact the High Command for further instructions."

He shakes his head slightly, almost in an amused fashion as he spoke.

"Not quite...The best option would be to scan it to the best of your ability, find out as much as you can from both a visual and technological stance before you return to the Coalition, the Ministry of Truth and the High Command would take it from there to analyze the findings for they may have knowledge not in the Archives that may link to the subject. Communications at that point would be premature as would an attack." he lightly rebuked, his eyes drifting from Alexej to the pistol from time to time.

He holsters the pistol once again and turns his full focus upon the man sitting across from him.

"Remember, there are many unknown entities in Sirius and beyond, sometimes it is simply best to get what you can from a distance and returning home safe and intact with the knowledge you carry. For all you know it could be a key to our final victory...We are almost done here, I simply have one final scenario for you before I can make my final judgement." he calmly states before folding his hands ontop of one-another.

"You find two Coalition Militsiya ships harassing a neutral trade-vessel in New Moscow, what course of action do you take?"

Alexej sat there looking at the commissar as he would his own father, listening and learning.
"I simply have one final scenario for you before I can make my final judgement." Said the commissar.
"You find two Coalition Militsiya ships harassing a neutral trade-vessel in New Moscow, what course of action do you take?"
Alexej fell into his thoughts putting himself in the cockpit, thinking of what a soldier of the Revolutionary Army would do.
After a few moment of silence he spoke: "The answer to this scenario is easy sir, first offcourse i would look to see the whole story about what they are doing and if they had every right to harras the trader i would be there to help them out. But if they the Revolutionary Army does not attack trade wessels unless they are smuggling Alien Artifacts, slaves and other contraband. If the pilots in question were bellow my rank i would demand that they stopped. But if they were above my rank i doubt they would listen to a low ranking pilot like me so, well i.. I would contact you sir, or another commissar to get them in check.
After that statement he sat there hoping to have answered the scenario correctly.

A young woman walked into the recruitment office. She looked to be a native of JiangXi. Her jet black hair running down her gaunt face, stopping just above her shoulders. A skilled person could look passed her stoic expression and see an ocean of fear and uncertainty. However, the most noticeable feature of the newcomer was her clothing. She was wearing a very ill fitting flight suit, one tailored for a much taller pilot. Years of wear was evident from all angles. Dotting the uniform were patched holes, spots of thin threads, and insignias of the Fighter Corps. It was by no means a recent design, most likely one worn by pilots nearing the end of Premier Katz's leadership. But she seemed ignorant of her aged clothing. She walked up to the receptionist, softly exchanging pleasantries before being told to have a seat.

As he contemplated the answers he nodded slightly.

"Very well, you shall be sent to the Quartermaster and receive your first orders shortly, if you survive the first few days we'll see if you can handle the Army Life." He dismissed before getting out of his seat and going into the Lobby. Leaving the muppet to carry out his orders as he looks around the lobby, he spotted a woman in an older flight suit that looked like it saw better days, looking directly at her he raised his voice, it was almost 'booming' as he shouted.

"What in the name of McIntosh, Katz and Warner happened to you Muppet?!" the man demanded, folding his arms across one-another as he observed her rather sorry state with a rather annoyed expression crossing his features, he suspected if he was closer she would smell like hell...And he didn't mean Planet Estergebirge either...

The girl visibly jumped in her seat as the man's voice charged through the air. She stared at him from her seat, her mind drawing a blank before realizing he was the man she needed to talk to. She quickly stood at attention, repeating a line she's practiced until she could say it in her sleep in a soft but confident voice. "Jia Wu sir, I'm here to apply to the Fighter Corps." She seemed oblivious to the question going unanswered.
