Looted Nomad Weaps

Hey, I'm new to the server, and I just have a quick question. My guy is a mercenary, I was flying around in Alaska, and happened to kill a few nomads. One of them dropped a Nomad Energy Cannon. Is it ok to use dropped nomad weapons or can only the nomads use any of them? Thanks

You can use Nomad Energy Cannons and Nomad Energy Blasters.

Your mercenary shouldn't be in Alaska, but that's another topic.

To use Nomad Weaponry in Liberty, you need to purchase a license.

It's not really against server rules to use them, though on most ships I think it -should- be, because your random run of the mill merc or freelancer or bounty hunter will not have access to those weapons. if you think about it, they arent straight off nomad ships, they're converted nomad technology (presumably created by either the order or liberty experiments). The only reason they 'drop' from nomad kills is because it was a game limitation.

Anyways, if you dont pay for licenses in the houses they can attack you for carrying or using nomads and nomad equipment.
