Nah, this time we roll with player-driven RP. In case corsairs and outcasts become surprisingly friendly to eachother during the event, Hispania will be reunited.
The Corsairs are delivering their space hippies to teach the Maltese how to live in peace and harmony, and of course how to grow organic food.
They will send their "infiltrators" to soften the hearts of all the Maltese with their tie dye shirts and life philosophies.

If any of the two, the Maltese sure have a better understanding of agriculture, like centuries more knowledge and experience. I'm pretty sure they could teach their Cretin cousins how to grow some exotic crops. In return the Corsairs could share their culinary brilliance and teach some fine tricks, like how to prepare baby food... if you know what I mean...

I think some things need amending, such as the ID rules and disallowing random ships from all over the sector coming in to assist.
Admittedly, I accidentally broke the rules twice because apparently Outcasts can't shoot Corsair transports in Maltese space. Wtf. That's dumb. Please make it so that Outcasts can shoot Corsairs regardless of ship class.

As for the Freelancer... idk pay him more?
I was under the assumption by the default ID that you can kill enemy transports in your own home system(s) (beta/alpha/omi tau/omi 85)
But apparently not. Should be the same for Sair ID.
As for the FL, I didn't have money at the time, plus, he was called on behalf of his buddies on TS. |:

EDIT: Only the cargo event counts towards the rewards. The kill bonus is just a bonus.

Someone managed to max out the corsair part of the cargo event over the course of a few hours between those two posts, while Outcasts delivered only another 17k
