Already happened.

One bribe was a guy posing to be a transport pilot for an insitute researching these. But they wanted to go past security to do it swiftly. So he paid cash and got the permit.

All I can say is kudos to all parties involved,this event has been great,absolutely great,some good RP encounters emerged out of it.And hope more events like this will emerge.

My question is will the event be running tomorow as well?or will it stop in about 4 hours?

There is a choice to be had. Ideally, this event ends during the server restart (As I cannot remove the "Active events" text from the login banner without a restart - ending the event quicker would mislead players.).

I would not mind halving the bonus and allowing the event run for longer as balance, but perhaps you'd rather have a different house to be as the best point for such an event - and with a different buypoint and commodity. I'd personally prefer the later. Perhaps place the destination in...Gallia, for example.

This event is not particularly interesting.
Untagged indie FL-IDs and Junker-IDs on non-suspicious names trying to beat the "last 15 k to Hattan"... is not exactly very exciting.

Furthermore, it is clearly detrimental when solo-activity beats the money you can make in coop activity.

Not everything has to be a coop. Sometimes solo runs are relaxing. Sure, coop should be more rewarding though. Remember, this is just a little weekend event for the fun of it.

Also you'd be surprised how many people take the lanes when smuggling.

Jack, just b/c it isn't exciting for you, doesn't mean the same for others.
We know you have a strong bias to smuggling but still... relax. You are exaggerating.
This "FL-ID and Junker ID shouldn't get attention" attitude is getting a bit irritating. It has only been 2 days of the event. Why is it such a big deal to you?
It's an event.

PS: Again... it IS rather exciting especially when you posted a bounty for these smugglers of 10 million each.

I only gave my opinion because Spazzy thought aloud about keeping it for longer.
I have nothing against a weekend event.
But I am convinced that a constant buff on solo activity like smuggling - in which avoiding interaction is the key to success - is a bad decision.

Seems to me that people were not avoiding activity but actually interacting with the cops.

Plus buffing cardamine routes for instance would get you more traffic in the Taus. Why would you not want that.


And the bounty claim thing was done zero times maybe becasue of the above stated, no?


PS; Also people were getting on pirate ships to fight against lawfuls.
People were interacting in a lot of different ways and you can also make a smuggling convoy if you wanted to.

Smuggling can be the same solo activity as a miner can be when he mines for himself and sells it.
Plus ore trading is like.... no risk... besides the pirate that might find you.
