So i was scrolling down the "latest activity" posts and i noticed this one . It was posted a little ago and with link to this RP thread . The owner didn't even have time to respond.
Is this actually enough to be allowed by rule 3.5?
3.5 Roleplay is required before attacking or destroying a player owned base. The roleplay regarding this must be properly documented on forums, with the link(s) posted in this thread and should match the roleplay and conduct of the characters involved based on the faction they belong to.
It seems awfull that a person would do this without giving the owner of the base time to respond or anything. One comm was sent ordering money, then 45 minutes after (without response) an attack declaration is posted.
One can only attack a core 1 POB 8h after the attack declaration in the Attack Declarations thread. It's 24h for higher cores. The attack declaration in the dedicated thread can be posted at any time after the one in an RP section.
Considering some of the RP in relation to Core 4 and 5 Pobs in the past, and the minimal effort that went into some of them, I find it rather funny this much fuss is being made about a Core 1 PoB, who from the name downward seems to be a deliberate attempt to troll people, based on the previous threat of the PoB Owner in a Comm to the Core.
Y'know, right now there is alot of this. Its inherent within the PoB system itself, but no one is going to fix it because there are people who like to do this (attackers) and guys who actually want their work to not go away with a few comms.
Hopefully it will either get fixed or people will get bored of shooting bases.
Shooting bases is super boring. The last two big sieges people kept bugging me to come but they are just inherently boring. The whole system is just weird and it's very punishing for the pob owners when they lose a core 3+ base. Core upgrades are very time intensive and not all of that is fun.
