I imagine the Admiral of that vessel was mighty confused when he found it missing from his fleet.

I think Carmen Sandiego is leading these thefts. She stole the rings of Saturn, the tango and the American Revolution, so I doubt stealing a battleship is beyond her.

I witnessed this exchange between North and South as well, among a few others. Somewhat unbecoming behavior for members of the Navy, especially with our rampant pirate problem. Division in our ranks based on systems of deployment solves little.

The Liberty Luchador is looking forward to seeing what comes of this.

I don't think Maverick and Jester liked me around either, though. Especially since I made a few seccession cracks of my own.

Carmen... Sandiego... uh oh, wasn't that another dumb tv show with "genius" (read, not genius) teenagers...

Anyway. Because of the near infinite aspect of roleplay, and its very loose enforcement through server rules, anyone can basically do pretty much anything he wants, and even though that abusive person might be frowned upon, but then what? No rule that forces them to act democratic like how Liberty should be. Instead, they could act like a fascist, that it'd be just as fine - because nothings tells him "hey, you dont have the right to be like that or this in such or such house military". It is their choice (unfortuantely) to abide to the suposed (because all we do after all is guesswork) Liberty stance by the majority of the players.

Liberty seems, at least to me, more minarchic than democratic. Yes, they have an elected head of state, but there are very high levels of economic freedom, which generally does not coincide with high levels of democracy. Also, if Liberty is following a Jeffersonian model of government, then it is definitely minarchic.

for my single (most likely single) post in this thread, this is what I think about indies.

They are a good assett but should obey orders from official player factions.
For example, and indie navy pilot with a navy ID and Tag and a Navy ship should do what the navy does, however still obey the SA.

Given the independents in Liberty are part of the Northern Fleet, it would be impossible for the Southern Fleet to order them, as it has no jurisdiction there and they shouldn't often come into contact at all, given the Southern Fleet is supposed to be in Texas and California and the Northern Fleet is supposed to be in New York and Colorado.

@Xing; From Wikipedia;

"In civics, minarchism, sometimes called minimal statism, or small government, is the view that the size, role and influence of government in a free society should be minimal only large enough to protect the liberty and property of each individual. Many minarchists consider themselves part of the libertarian tradition, and claim that what they call minarchy continues the traditions of classical liberal philosophy. The term is perhaps most often used to differentiate libertarians who believe it is possible to have a state that protects individual liberty without violating it itself, from the anarcho-capitalists who believe that any state is inherently a violation of individual liberty. Minarchists believe some minimal government is necessary to preserve liberty (from invading non-minarchy based armies, if nothing else)."

Erm... then... the govenrment has no power, runs screaming at the slightest provocation, it accepts bribes at all times, is incredibly corrupt, and is unwilling to do any real work? And is really, really fat? Oh, and it would probably be secretly controlled by the Sunbucks corporation (ooo, similarities to Kusari!)?

EVERY Post is just about how SA And LSF are fascist to Indies... Do something different for a change.

Wrong.

I know one of the member of those NC| , he told me that he was preparing something, dunno what, But I know his RP capabilities which are extremely good.

Lets see if he will post here

One member, Zapp being the one I think you're referring to, who has amazing RP abilities does not represent all members of the clan.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.
