My fantastic Disco experience...

[Angelfire]

I arrived here an insecure noob... Sticking my inexperienced neck out of my starflier outside Manhatten and greeting the massive Capital ships... (with Human names!!!) ...with a 'Hi everyone!'

No answer.

Someone attempted to open a trade window with me... I had no clue how to open the damn thing so I headed to the forums to find out.

WHAM... the world of chaos was opened to me..a faction? what is a faction? Intimidated i read further.. ooh..this looks like a nice one... 1 day..no answer.. 2 days... no answer... 3 days.. nothing.. damn.. lets try this one... 1 day.. no answer...2 days.. the one I applied to first sends me a test!

I fill in the test and wait for an answer... the second one I applied to responds.. 'Welcome to RepEx'.. WOOOHOOO! The amazing RepEx 001 meets me outside manhatten and gives me... 20 MILLION $$... Holy crap... the ESCORTS me all the way to Berlin, all the while chatting about the things of Sirius and it's economy!
Amazing!

I pass the test on the first Factions application, but after seeing how they communicate with other players I back out and send a formal apology.

RepEx is my home!

Off to the forums I go...what this? character biographies? ...wow! I start the Angelfire saga and open it up for others to take part.

Victor, Alan, Vince, Smaltz and many other players interact with Nick and Pam (Alan even gave the amnesia'd Angelfire the name 'Nick').
The Amazing Gentle rescues the crazed Angelfire from Berlin and next up Angelfire is in OPG. (Pam stayed in RepEx). The amazing Azno takes me under his wing and trains me mercilessly. Angelfire becomes a Gunboat master.. our first major outing we run into a small army (which I posted about immediately after.. RoS anyone?) My GB Razors making an Outcast destroyer leak flame...
Then the sudden death of Angelfire... or shall I say apparent death...

To those of you I have mentioned and to many of those who I have not.

THANK YOU.

I loved every minute of my journey, and although I cannot play for the same amount of hours that I used to, that journey was by far the best RP experience I have ever had!

FINE...I'll thank some other great cabbages here too then... RoS..thanx for adopting my Cabbagy ass when I decided to leave... You guys were the magnet that brought me back... CAYLITH...thanks for settin me Angel up again..you rock girl..another reason I stuck around:)Puck... heh heh

A big Kudos to JihadJoseph for draggin my ass back in... I almost went over to wow again *shudder*.

The Angelfire saga will continue... One or so more month of pitches and presentations and I'll have time to play again... I look forward to powerful RP with amazing people!

Until then i'll spam the flood with polls and other trolling nonsense (sorry xoria,,hahaha) but just felt the need to say thanks to evertyone for the opportunity to express my imagination in such a fun way.

Flame me if I forgot you, I shall happily remedy the situation..
