Hi there. So I was wondering a lot about which factions are selling their ships openly to other people, which ones require a permission and which ones are absolutely restricted to a certain faction. Of course, this is only about the smaller ships, as capitals are mostly always either faction-only or require a permission. So, here I'd like to make a list, and I would like to have every faction to correct me if I'm wrong.
Legend: Ship - self-explanatory Faction - NPC faction this ship belongs to Type - Either [Free to use] (Everyone 'could' buy them legally without contacting the player faction of the NPC faction), [Permission necessary] (People need to contact the player faction of the NPC faction to get permission to legally use the ship) or [Faction only] (The ship is only to be used by this faction per game rules) Link - Link to the laws of the certain faction that restricts a ship

Crayter - restricted
Order - doesn't mention a restriction on their own technology
IMG - technology license - Manaslu, IMG light fighter: Available on open market
Lhotse, IMG very heavy fighter: Available on open market
Nanda Devi, IMG heavy bomber: Available on open market
Nanga Parbat, IMG small transport: Available on open market
Annapurna, IMG transport miner: Available on open market
Vampire Technology: Available on open market
Imperial Kusari 343 - doesn't mention a restriction on their own technology
The Gallic transport, super transport and liner are civilian ships. If you don't need permission to get the Sirian civilian ones, I doubt you need them here as well. The Gallic Armored Transport is civilian as well.
I highly doubt Trenton sold the Junkers out but Hicks best get in here quick to sort

I have checked both the main pages of .:j:. and JM| and they don't mention any restrictions in the use of Junker ships as foreign pilot. That aside, there are many people flying around with Freelancer ID'd Junker ships.
