We're going to do all this AND make a new house? I don't know, Igiss I respect what you've done with Disco and everything, but please tell me there is more people, something like a dev team, working on this?
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
I think this could be interesting...
You put "one or two" systems somewhere, claim they belong to this new house ('cause they just arrived and cannot claim yet a whole quarter of the map), make some planet and few bases in these systems and, depending on how you feel it, make a RP or let players try to do one...
They could receive other house's "help for newcomers" or make them become "unlawful pirats who grow slowly, but certainly... Muhahaha !". Any other option between these extremes are possible... Great potential !
EDIT : If my low skills can be ANY help, they're yours. (*cough*, truly, I can at least be a tester, or, if you teach me, anything I can be to help)
OK for gentle RP, OK for gentle PvP too. What do you prefer ?
Hurk hurk hurk...

Hmm, I personally am against a new house. But having said that, I don't really understand how adding stuff actually works in freelancer, but I don't see how it would require a player wipe. I mean, new systems and jumpholes are added in every now and then. The Alaska Jumphole in Connecticut was removed without requiring a player wipe. Guard faction reps are added in without requiring a player wipe. Why not just set the new house to neutral to all to start off, and eventually it'll sort itself out as people do more and more missions etc (since any new house would undoubtedly have at least *some* friends/enemies).
Would have rather it been a Scandinavian house rather than French, but at least this will keep everyone from flooding it...nice idea Igiss, I for one like it.
