"What can I say... I seem to have an affinity of hurting myself in the long run with these "expeditions" of mine. Not that I hate them, but it just feels heavily ironic.
And this time I don't even know for sure why I did it. I just... *sigh*.
I think I'm more hungry to know certain things than care for my health, or my life for that matter.
Sure, I have Rhea's little pet A.I. watching just in case of emergencies... but still. It's rather ridiculous when I think about it myself.
And no. People would think I'd learn from the first few times, but I don't think I'll ever encounter such a "realization".
Regarding that... I guess I can have it log most of the info from this trip I did.
There's no real point in keeping it in my head now is there... I'd rather keep it where I can find it again, if need be.
Ship subsystems identified a warp anomaly being held in place by an unidentified alien structure. Origins are unknown, but data presumes it to be of Daam K'Vosh origin.
Data also has inaccurate definitions. <|:Jump Gate:|> is, for a fact, active. Conflicts with data claiming the structure to be inactive. As the ship attempted to interface with the gate, the warp anomaly expanded and blasted the ship through like a slipstream.
Other data has been compiled from what has been given.
Imagery: [::UNAVAILABLE::] Data Mass: [::UNAVAILABLE::] Region: Drake [::Presumed, old data::] Origin: Unknown
Long Range Scanners picked up another unknown structure in the distance, from within a sub-space anomaly had been detected as well.
Whether or not this anomaly has any similarities to the one that the ship passed through, the analytics do not have enough range and power to conceive the differences. [::Action Aborted::]
The detection was abruptly put to a halt as unidentified craft attempted to destroy the ship. Multiple EAGLE-class ships and one unidentifiable ship class, presumed to be a gunboat from size comparisons.
"Well... this completely reinforces my earlier statement about not caring for my life at the least. To be honest, I'm not sure am I sane or do I just keep defying my own concerns. In one perspective I guess you could say it's hilarious, but it's still a bit worrying.
That and I just keep venturing deeper into the Omicrons... one step too far and I might end up in a body bag floating in some Nomad system.
As much as the thought scares me, I just have an urge to breach this knowledge barrier... I don't know as much about Sirius as the average citizen. But I definitely have gone farther than any."
For better or worse.
"Well... pleasantries aside. More data mass for keeps. Albeit I dare say that these ain't the places I should be looking from...
Ugh. I'm still getting the shivers..."
Multiple remnants or old war-torn ships and one incomprehensible planet reside within the center of the system. Many asteroids, bits and pieces occupy the majority of the site.
Tons of fighters, one transport some distance away and a battleship remnant.
Current records hold no information as to what entity, or multiple if applicable, would have caused such devastation.
Peculiar structure in the midst of the Edge Nebula which resides in Delta. Analytics go haywire when absorbed closer.
Possibility for a power/energy source, unknown purpose.
Earlier recorded phenomenon indicate either interfacing with the power core of a ship, or possibly active artifacts.
Lacking info.

"Good god I haven't touched this for a while... well better late than never. Then again, this habit never seems to end.
I ventured to the Omicrons again, obviously against my doubts and probably the will of Rhea if she would ever find out again... but I never tell her much. I fear, at times, that if I do then something else might happen solely because she knew it. Thus... I keep it to myself. Yet I'm starting to wonder if this is beginning to become all a horrible idea.
Sigmas in the Kusari, the lower Omicrons close to the Corsairs... and then finally up there. Delta, Minor... [REDACTED].."
"I met two particular people on the way there.. on Kappa to be exact. I didn't get to know much other than the fact that they questioned me and before I could do elaborate enough I think I must've.. blacked out? I don't know exactly what happened to be honest with you... the next thing I knew was that I simply ended up a bit below the jump hole I was looking for.
Now Delta on the other hand... man. Did I miss a war or something? I don't recall Zoners ever having to place three separate capital ships to defend a single Freeport. Though.. I guess it's warranted considering the damage I saw. But to top it all off I think I found something I shouldn't have.
Something hidden within the confines of a gigantic.. asteroid? Nevertheless, what I found inside was.. a spectacular sight to say the least. Alien in design definitely, but for what purpose? I probably won't ever know, but this... "gas" I found definitely isn't something a structure like that would hide without a reason.. right? I can't even find a single entry point in the Neural Net for this damn stuff. I might visit some research stations in the future... but for now I'll hold on to it just like I seem to hold on to this little artifact I can't ever get rid of.
It brings me headaches sometimes... like an ill-written song."
